We popped in during our visit to the Isle of Man after the TT races, asked if we could have a table for three only to be rudely told that they had no tables available (despite the fact that the place wasn't even half way full and there was plenty of seating available) and we had to sit outside. When we went outside we quickly realised that all the other people sitting outside were also motorcyclists and they had all been told the same thing so I guess the people working there don't want bikers dragging their establishment into disrepute or something. The next time I'm over for the racing I certainly won't be paying the Bride Tea Rooms a visit and would encourage anyone reading this to do...
Read moreWe happened to be passing and popped in for a late lunch. It was perfect. We arrived with three other random parties, so we were concerned it might take a while for our order to arrive, but by the time we’d drunk half a glass of wine, dinner was served. We had the lamb goulash and a burger and chips. Both very tasty, served hot from the oven.
I finished with a coffee (a bit rough, but everything else was perfect so I can’t remove a star).

Combination of things - bank holiday so was extremely busy, only had one chef due to illness so food took an hour to be served. We both had the Moroccan lamb with cous cous, hardly any meat and very salty cous cous. They were however very nice and polite about the delay and apologetic about the food and gave us money off our bill. Would still go back...
