Decided to spice up my Saturday with a little pub crawl in Ashdod, so me and my mates swung by Castle for some drinks. The weather was spot on, so it was buzzing outside with all the tables occupied, but inside was surprisingly chill. The bar had this cool old-fashioned vibe, complete with small knight figures scattered around. It was quite adorable! The interior had mostly long tables and high bar chairs, perfect for a quick pit stop but maybe not the best for an all-nighter. The music playing on the screens was geared towards a younger crowd, which was a bit unexpected considering the place's decor, but hey, if it works, it works! We had already eaten dinner, so we skipped the food menu, but I must say, the dishes coming out of the kitchen looked mouthwatering. And the prices seemed quite reasonable too. They had a decent selection of draft beers, and the service was quick and efficient, making the whole experience enjoyable. Now, let's talk about the beer prices. It's the typical Israeli story with a pint costing around £35 for a 0.5L, but hey, we were prepared for it. Overall, Castle provided us with a pleasant evening of good drinks and a relaxed atmosphere. It's definitely a spot worth checking out during your pub crawl adventure in Ashdod. Cheers!

Got here by a friend's recommendation that this place has a worthy hamburger. Well, for 70 shekels for a normal burger or 78 for a cheeseburger, I can find dozens of better options. It wasn't bad, just not that great either. Maybe having a burger in such a place wasn't the best choice and I was mislead. Anyway the burgers took almost half an hour to arrive at our table, which also added to the inconvenience. At least the waiters were very nice despite the circumstances. The vibe is really cool, the place is nicely decorated. Though the wooden seats made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The upbeat music also reminds of a gym of some sort, didn't feel very suitable for lunch. In the bottom line, looks like a classical case of expectation adjustment, but I'll anyway share my personal experience as it was.

An absolute journey - Both cultural and inside your mouth! Seats are available both inside and outside, and there's a feeling something always happens ans place is busy, even when it's not, but in a good manner. Combine that with authentic Czech atmosphere, and you'll definitely feel like it's a scene taken from fantasy book! Moreover, maybe most importantly, the food - This place serves fish, sea food, and meat. Personally I've tried only their meat, but I can surely tell you - It's probably one of the best meals I've ever had! The portions are very large, and what's best about it, is that it doesn't make it expensive! The prices are ridiculously cheap compared to many other similar restaurants. To sum it up - One must eat in this place if ever being around!
