Idi Fish Restaurant — Restaurant in undefined

Idi "has been", "was" a classic for many years. We have no comments on being personal, competent, and behaving properly, with professional courtesy. With regard to food, we have had repeated disappointments due to the "banality" and lack of personality of the dishes, which are supposed to be "Mediterranean" cuisine. It seems that the chef does not want to take risks and there is an absolute lack in the use of salt, lemon-lime, pepper, olive oil and all those spices necessary to flavor fish or seafood in an attractive way. For example, the octopus entry was served only with salt, there being no species outside the natural flavor of the dish. The seafood pasta was utterly lacking in flavors and turned more into "hospital food for sick people." In the past we find this same theme in a "paella" absolutely lacking in the necessary seasonings to flavor this classic dish. Today, there is nothing special or attractive about Idi's cuisine. For a nice evening with friends and a tasty dinner, it is currently not the recommended place in Ashdod. When it comes to paying the bills, the sky-high prices don't justify the bland and timid food that was...

The dishes are small, and very expensive. From other reviews I thought this is a casual place but it is a Gourmet style restaurant, only with packed tables and little room inside. Big plates, small portions. The fish menu is quite rich but there is very little price difference between them. The fish was not even fresh (frozen) when we inquired the waiter, so I do not see any justification for the price. Also when we ordered we waited for about 5 minutes before we were notified we can only receive half the portion (for half the price) because its all they have left. And even when the dish came it was small and disappointing....

זוג פלוס שני ילדים קטנים - שבת בצהריים . המקום עייף ,ריח חזק של דגים הילדה כיסתה את האף עם החולצה אין מוזיקה כלשהי אפילו לא אווירתית, אולי זה קשור לזה שממוצע הגילאים שם היה בערך 78 ואלה, חזק להם - ואולי לא . האוכל בינוני מאוד . מנת פתיחה דגים מטוגנים מעורב אשדוד נטול טעם ,רק טעם של שמן עמוק 70₪ זה סה״כ ל-100 גרם בערך של דגים זולים - כלום ליד כמו כל המנות לא צילמתי כי לא היה מה לצלם ליד כל מנה מגיעות שני חתיכות חזה בגודל של קופסת גפרורים ופלח בצל קטן ועל זה קורט תבלין כלשהו אולי פפריקה. ספגטי ילדים ברוטב שמנת צלחת קטנה 55 שקל הילדה לא אכלה כי אמרה שלא טעים , לא החזרנו . סלט ירוק עם גבינה כחולה נראה כאילו קראו בצ׳אט איך להכין סלט עם גבינה כחולה בזול וזה מה שיצא , חסה עם קרוטונים וגבינה כחולה ומעט אגס ממש סלט עצוב ועייף . פילה אנטיאס הדג היה עשוי מושלם הגיע עם אורז צהוב כורכום יבש וזהו- 155₪ טרטר סלמון עם ביצי דגים היה טעים אבל זו מנה שאין בה איזון כי לטרטר (קוביות סלמון) ולביצי דגים יש את אותו מרקם וזה פשוט ישב על מי סויה מעורבבים קצת עם וואסאבי ואחרי כמה ביסים בחילה הילד מאוד אוהב דג נא אז לקחנו אבל הוא לא סיים חצי ממנה וזה ילד שאוכל יופי. פוקצ׳ה הוגשה בהתחלה והייתה אחלה אבל אין מטבלים וגם לא חמאה ! רק רבע ראש שום בתנור . כוס לימונדה קטנה 15 שקל כנ״ל גם תפוזים . קיצור 500₪ ישבנו בערך חצי שעה והלכנו כי אמרו לנו יש לכם עד 13:45 הגענו ב 12:30 . לא יפה ככה במיוחד שמאיזו שהיא סיבה יש ציון גבוהה באנטרנט תמונות של הבעלים במסעדה אם הוא היה במקום אולי לא היה ככה מבאס. מי שזה עובד לו...
