Tamara is a dairy restaurant located in the Malcha Technology Garden. It is a good alternative to the restaurants inside the Malcha Mall. It is a nice place that offers a variety of delicious and Good quality dairy dishes, coffee and pastries. It is a beautiful venue. Excellent varied health leaning menu. Better then most places across street in mall. The atmosphere is friendly and suprisingly reasonable prices. It is a nice and cozy place, nice atmosphere and ambience, the food is good and atmosphere and the place is spacious. This is a great restaurant. The waiters are very nice and the service is usually quick. The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor seating. in the summer, when not too hot, it is a pleasure to sit outside. around there is a large grassy area, so kids can run and play around. The French breakfast is delicious and I highly recommend it. The dishes size are pretty decent with big portions. The salads are quite large coming like a pyramid, I like it ;) Their salad nicoise served with a warm, crisp ciabbata roll, had a generous amount of seared tuna. They also have amazing potatoes with a delicious dressing. The desserts and the dishes are really good. There is a parking right outside the restaurant which is...
Read moreWe went in on Friday morning for a late breakfast (or brunch, I guess). It was spur of the moment, but they didn't have trouble giving us a reservation for an hour from the moment we called.
The staff were helpful and understanding, in particular, they seated us with a space for my sister's stroller, so it won't be in the way. The menus are on tablets, and we ordered a clever and tasty dish of breaded and fried goat cheese in a dark (wine?) sauce with little dollops of mashed sweet potatoes. A great thing to share while we waited for the rest of the party to arrive.
I ordered a French Morning plate, which is somewat reminiscent of eggs Benedict (poached eggs on salmon and brioch with hollandaise sauce), but they replaced the sauce with a more tart citrus sauce. The rest of the party enjoys shakshuka and the breakfast platter (Which came on a multi-tiered serving piece, laden with little ramikins of spreads and cheeses. Delightful and indulgent!)
The service was good, the location good, the food good - I...
Read moreA stunning cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and free parking, which is rare in the city. This is pretty much it for the positives. I will now move on to the negatives; The menu is extremely basic, ever so boring. It should also be noted that they offer electronic menus (tablets) which is not to my liking, since it gives a cheap, chain-restaurant vibe, though that is a personal preference. The food was awful for the high pricing. The cauliflower was just horrible. We couldn't even finish half. My sandwich was half empty and uneven, and the toast was... fine. Nothing special. As for the service, it was not welcoming. The staff behaved as if they were sick of the job and forced to be there. Altogether, it was a disappointing, expensive experience. I probably won't...
