TL;DR Great sushi but expensive
Nooch is basically Kiso's smaller twin restaurantIt has the same menu and the same excellent food for the same high prices.
It's located in Ramat hasharon not far from the entrance. There is no parking lot around so you need to find a place in the street which is challenging..
The restaurant itself is smaller than the Kiso, the internal design is very nice and it is provides a nice atmosphere to eat and talk unlike the Kiso's large and noisy space. We got there but had to wait for the reserved table for a long time. The owner came to apologize and promised to compensate us and he delivered :)
We got to a nice wooden table with soft lighting. It was big enough to hold the food for all 4 of us.
The menu is the same as in Kiso so we felt at home there. We ordered: Drinks Thai Mellon that was good
Firsts: Agedashi Tofu - a really large bowl Japanese corn cream - nice Shrimp Gyoza - we ordered it and the waitress explained that it's not steamed but fried with butter but we never got it to the table. It gave me another reason to come back.. Spicy Salmon Pani Puri - we got it from the restaurant and it was really good. it comes in a crispy ball of dough with a nice suce you need to pour into it. - really good.
Sushi: Crazy Roll Out of Control Nihon Roll Sakena Rol California Roll Crazy Roll Purple rain Sakura Roll The presentation is not as good as the one in Kiso but the taste is excellent.
Dessert: Tokyo kiss - was nice but less than I expected. Thai style - another gift from the restaurant, It was really good.
We had a good time and ate excellent food. you get your...
Read moreThe place is nice, not the quietest, but it is up to the costumers. The tables a little crowded, to each other. Which I would like them to improve. As well as paying attention to the costumers. There are times, before you order, the come to you every 2 minutes. And 2 minutes after you just were able to sit. After the order, when you eat, you desperately trying to get their attention to ask for something, by then depends on what you eat, the food getting cold. The food is tasty. Prices for the wine is kind of expansive comparing to the amount of wine you get. Cleanses - well, as the best time to relax is at evening, there is dark, so you cant see much, unless it is on your table. And in regard to that, they need to pay attention to the tableware better, as few times I got dirty glasses and silverware, which i requested to change for me, and at some point, when I got it back, it felt like it was cleaned with a cloth. ( And I am not talking about water marks on the silverware, but actual sticky substance, which need to wash with soap ) . Despite all that, it is a really nice place, comfortable, depending on where you sit. It has it also romantic vibe with the dark lights. But still can...
Read moreWhenever you get there, there're at least three empty tables. Yet they always ask you to wait. After 10 minutes you get one of the empty tables. Entrees came on time and wete ok. Then- nothing. The waiter is clearly avoiding us. Then the shift manager comes an laconically says that "there was a kitchen delay" and as compensation we'll get desert. Another eaiter cones and violently throws the dishes at our table. Sushi was ok. Noodles were bleugh. Only one of took the "gift" desert and it was meh. And the the waiter comes with the tip and asks what about their tip..?!
It used to be...
