The food here was absolutely delicious ، hands down, some of the best meat I’ve ever had. Every dish we ordered was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The salads were fresh and super tasty too ، everything just hit the spot.
The atmosphere was equally impressive. The restaurant is tucked beneath a well-known hotel , with a beautiful, cozy interior. Think warm wooden tones, soft lighting, white tablecloths, and a relaxed, elegant vibe. There’s a stylish bar at the front that adds to the charm, and the music is calm and not too loud ،just right for the mood. The staff were also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
The only downside was the wait. Although we arrived exactly on time for our reservation . even a few minutes early ،we weren’t seated until about 20 minutes later. There was no real waiting area or seating outside, which wasn’t ideal, especially since we had elderly people with us who had to stand the entire time.
Still, once we were seated, the wonderful atmosphere and incredible food made up for the rough start. I’d definitely recommend checking...
Read morePrices are outrageous but we knew that before we went (a friend chose the restaurant). Food was good but double the price of other places. Sat on the non smoking side of the terrace but all the smoke from the smoking side comes in. The most annoying thing was that I booked for 6 but at the last minute asked if we could bring an extra guest, prepared to squash in. The hostess on the phone said there is no way to accommodate an extra person. When we got there, saw we were at a table at the end and could have maybe put an extra seat at the head of the table but ok. Do imagine my surprise when at the table for two next to us, a third guest arrived and sat in the aisle next to us. Told the hostess that it was most annoying and her rude reaction "Do you want me to go and tell the third guest to leave". I regretted being polite and inquiring instead of just turning up with an extra guest and leaving the restaurant to deal with it. Wonder if she would have spoken to me like that if I were one of the "regular" mouveau crowd that seem to frequent the place. Would not...
Read moreDON'T GO -I had high expectations coming to Turquoise, especially given its prime location right on the sea. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
First of all, while the restaurant is located by the water, there is no real access to the sea, which makes the setting feel misleading. The place itself is surprisingly small and overcrowded, with too many tables squeezed together. Instead of a relaxed, high-class atmosphere, it felt cramped and noisy.
The prices are very expensive, but the food and overall experience don’t justify it. Service is handled mostly by very young students who clearly lack proper training — friendly enough, but far from professional. For a restaurant that tries to present itself as upscale, the execution simply isn’t there.
In short, Turquoise wants to feel like a fine dining spot, but ends up delivering a crowded, overpriced, and underwhelming experience. Definitely not worth the hype or the cost - finally very hard to reach and parking is...
