La Paesana — Restaurant in Acquaviva Picena

This restaurant was recommended to me and i gotta say i was very, very disappointed. Me and friend ordered mix of grilled meat, for 30 euro we got single plate with 2 extremely small sausages and some bones and fat with such a minimal amount of meat it was staggering. But worst thing was taste, nothing had any flavor beside burnt and bitter (with exception of those mini 2-bite-sausages those were salty and okay). The fries were decent but again, medium sized one single serving between two guys, when we ordered two portions, its just not enough. Server was very sweet and helpful, but when she asked if i wanted more, even though i was still super hungry, i refused, knowing i would have to try to nibble around some bitter bones, for another 15 euro. No way. Place is very nice, surrounding country side and view is extremely beautiful, but i came for food and that was one of the worst experiences i had ever in restaurant. Some of the best meat there is! Extra friendly service. Fresh local produce. Typical Italian cuisine prepared with love and care. Excellent value for your money. Don't miss it! I return very often. The pasta dishes are a must! Not to mention the rabbit dish, 'n cip' n ciap, a speciality of the region. The desserts are delicious. The ricotta and pear tart, tiramisù, just to mention a few. The chefs have added fish dishes during the lenten period. Also vsry good alternatives. Best quality/value for money in the village. La Paesana continues to be our favourite in Acquaviva. Great food, super friendly personnel. I had the Tiramisu today. Probably the best I've ever had. Soft, light, delicious!
