Bar Pizzeria Da Nando di Acampora Ferdinando — Restaurant in Agerola

We have been traveling for more than a month in Italy and this place was the most enjoyable dinner experience we have had on our entire trip. The town is gorgeous and this restaurant is very humble but the food is spectacular. We had a salad that was very, very fresh, delicious and big portion. Enough for my wife and I to share. We then had the marinara pizza and it was the best pizza I have ever tasted in my 47 years on this earth. Dough was perfect marriage of crispiness and chewy done in a brick wood fire oven. Flavor was like a dream come true. The sauce was incredible! Obviously homemade with fresh local tomatoes from this rich fertile area. DELICIOUS pizza and SO CHEAP: pillowy base with that proper Neopolitan flavour, toppings fresh and plentiful. Prices start at €3 for a fantastic Margherita, one of the best I have ever had and I live in Italy! We couldn’t believe the value for money, such a bargain. You’d pay £10 at least for the same quality pizza in England and nearly as much in northern Italy. Also recommend the aubergine and mozzarella fritters. The proprietor kindly offered us some local limoncello on the house when we had finished - normally I’m not a fan but I tried it out of politeness and it was really lovely, so fresh and lemony. I am from the North of Italy and I went to visit Napoli for the first time, then I went to Agerola a wonderful and peaceful place , and I found this place Da Nando, and in my opinion is the best place where you can eat an incredible and tasty pizza and I can promise you, you will never find in another place cheap prices like this one for a pizza!!! 3€ for a pizza!!! Also you can have like a dessert even pizza with just nutella on!!!!..the TOP!.. Nando and the stuff is very welcoming and very friendly , once inside the pizzeria I felt like home! Also this place is a good one to eat after a long day of Hiking around on the mountains here!..I recommend this place not only for Italian people but also for all the tourists that want to visit...
