Bar Hercules — Restaurant in Agropoli

Edit in response to restaurant comment: the service charge was clearly a separate line item on the receipt, it’s not our first time in an Italian restaurant, we know what a cover charge is. The price for paninis on the menu was €6, but on the receipt they were €7. We would have happily paid €7, but to charge more at the end is dishonest. The receipt was only handed over when we asked for it, after being given the machine to pay. They don’t offer it to you in advance, so people feel awkward and then this stuff happens. Service was good, food was good, but for €2 you ruined the experience. Sad.

We had to pay a different price for paninis than it’s written on the menu, and the most importantly they even didn’t give us a bill before paying only after! The food was good but I won’t come back to this place again because of this. Be aware and ask your bill...
