Wittine Der Shoppf — Restaurant in Alagna Valsesia

I was here on the night of 31st December with a bunch of my friends. We celebrated new year's eve here. It was one of the best dining experiences in terms of ambience. Obviously, this restaurant is on the mountain top and takes an hour of hike from Alagna. The hike is a little difficult during winters owing to the snow on steep mountains.

However, it was totally worth it.

The staff is also super friendly and courteous. When you're in the Italian alps, I highly recommend you...

Negli anni ho imparato ad apprezzare questo luogo ...vista fantastica ..cibo ottimo , accoglienza fino a pochi giorni fa impeccabile . Dico questo perché pochi giorni fa ho chiamato per avere disponibilità nel cenone di fine anno e mi è stato detto dopo ripetute frasi di dissuasioni discutibili che non c'era più posto . Fino a questo punto nulla di strano , poi però dei miei amici mi fanno sapere che questo locale aveva ancora molti posti e così ho fatto chiamare da loro ed effettivamente miracolosamente il posto è saltato fuori . Ora non voglio giudicare le scelte e tantomeno il modo di porsi al pubblico ma ritengo che il rispetto e l'educazione siano parte fondamentale nel settore turistico. Non basta il buon cibo ...non basta la vista stupenda ci vuole cortesia e disponibilità nel motivare certe scelte . Ovvio che la mia esperienza non riguarda tutto il personale . Ste e il suo cane sono persone fantastiche e solari dunque continuerò a consigliare questo rifugio augurandomi che tali situazioni non si verifichino più per rispetto mio e di tutte quelle persone che fanno e che faranno tappa...

Cozy place with very welcoming crew. Generous portions, very tasty. Some of the seats are in the shade after 13.30, but there are some with sunshine guaranteed. Try the cheek of beef,...
