We have spent 1 week in Alghero, Sardegna. We have been dining three times in Villa Loreto during our stay, therefore we had a chance to experience their dinner not only one but three times.||||Villa Loreto is a typical 'agriturismo' place in the best meaning of the term. They have seasonal menu card as well but they serve each and every day one or two types of special menu of the day. We chose all three times the menu of the day.||||All courses of the menu of the day was of the best ingredients, ranging from fresh fishes to lobsters, clams, other sea fruits, no frozen products at all. ||||This was coupled with good Sardinian wines, prosecco and other local spirits. ||||Price of the menu is far more than reasonable, for the quality of a Michelin star restaurant, you pay just around one third of the price of such a Michelin restaurant. ||||Last but most importatnly, what impressed us the most is the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff, especially that of the chief waiter.||||This was truly our best dining experience, thanks to Villa Loreto.||||Stay in Villa Loreto's rooms is also something to consider as the Villa has a marvelous park and surrounding area but we have not seen the rooms, therefore can judge those...

The staff were really helpful, always polite and courteous, and went out of their way to help resolve a problem.
The hotel really just needs a bit of investment in the rooms and it would be so much more. But for a few days when touring,...
