Mestìs Steakhouse — Restaurant in Altavilla Vicentina

This steak house was an infusion of American and Italian cuisine. American classic dishes with the freshness of Italy. The barbecue ribs were smoked to perfection. The meat just fell off the bone as I picked them up. The taste was smooth, flavorful, and smokey. Melting in my mouth. The ribs were well seasoned and not overly sauced. The nicely paired with the truffle Mac & cheese. The truffle Mac & cheese was cheesy and had a longer pasta noodle. Not the typical elbow noodle. With truffle sauce added on top.

They brought fresh bread to the table with several condiments for the bread. Butter, oil, and some other spreads. They also bring three different salts to the table for your steak. The lobster was also a fresh buttery delight. The staff was amazing and always there when I needed them. Very helpful and kind. The drinks were nice as well. The red velvet cake looked beautiful, but it did not taste like it was freshly made like the rest of the food. It was good it just did not have that fresh flavor. It tasted like it could have prepackaged. Overall, this is a nice, cozy restaurant with a warm environmental flow that puts you in the mood to relax after a long day. Mi spiace dare questi punteggi bassi, ma la mia esperienza non è stata assolutamente piacevole. Parto dal fatto che appena arrivati, per 10 minuti nessuno ci ha chiesto se avessimo prenotato o fatto accomodare, siamo andati a chiedere (4 tavoli stavano già mangiando e 3 cameriere che ci passavano davanti). Abbiamo dovuto chiedere il bere perché, dopo 20 minuti, ancora non era arrivato. Il pane chiesto 2 volte, arrivato a fine dell'antipasto. Spiegazione dei tagli della carne non chiari, una delle cameriere arrivata poi in aiuto, mi ha consigliato cosa scegliere. La chips (rosa) con un gusto di rancido, che ho fatto subito presente.
