Boutique del Mar — Restaurant in Alzachèna/Arzachena

During our visit to Spiaggia Mannena in Sardinia, my cousin and I had the pleasure of spending a serene afternoon at the beach bar Boutique Del Mar. Although we didn't dine there, we enjoyed a bottle of wine in their delightful setting with a beautiful view, which left a lasting impression.

Boutique Del Mar offers a fantastic selection of wines at very fair prices for Sardinia (we find the island in general quite pricey).

The service at Boutique Del Mar was truly exceptional. I don’t understand previous reviews. Despite only enjoying a bottle of wine, we were treated with attentiveness and care. The staff was friendly, ensuring our comfort and providing recommendations for the wine when needed. They graciously allowed us to sample several wines, guiding us through the tasting process with expertise.

To accompany our wine, we received a complimentary set of nibbles. The assortment included olives and cheese with caramelized onions, which were remarkable in flavor and added a touch of culinary delight to our afternoon.

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the extraordinary view of the sea. The beach bars location provides a stunning backdrop, allowing us to savor our wine while gazing at the azure waters. The tranquil atmosphere, complemented by the soothing sound of the waves, created a sense of serenity that made our experience truly memorable.

Firstly, they do not inform you that once you enter you have to pay 10EUR per person which is just a scam… I understand - in some places you have to pay for entrance, but to not be informed about it is just so so unprofessional. Secondly the food is definitely not worth the prices - we had pizza and it was just bread with what tasted like store bought sauce and mozzarella - and it was 20EUR. Not worth it at all. I am giving the service two stars just because the waiter (when we asked if we had to pay to be there - the menu said 10EUR - just “Coperto 10EUR”, NOT “10EUR per person”!!!) told us that it is 10EUR per person (once we ordered obviously…) then came back and said we can pay 5EUR per person. Two margarita pizzas and one water and the bill was almost 70EUR…...

Compleanno da ricordare......... avevo organizzato questo pranzo con la.mia famiglia andando a prenotare,di persona, il giorno prima, un tavolo sul.mare...... arriviamo e la prenotazione non era stata scritta. Dopo circa 20 minuti trovano una soluzione e ci sistemano su un bel tavolo ..... location non c'è che dire.... ordiniamo una fregola con le cozze e due spaghetti co. Astice..... mia figlia non mangia il pesce , il giorno prima mi ero assicurata che facessero la pizza a pranzo come da menù, ordiniamo la pizza mi rispondono che quel giorno nn la facevano, vabene ci accontentiamo di uno spaghetto al pomodoro. Dopo aver aspettato un ora e un quarto in cui il vino non è arrivato E l'acqua non è arrivata arrivano i primi..... un solo spaghetto con astice i vece che due!!!! Mio marito rimane senza pranzo, la mia fregola con le cozze era una fregola al pomodoro con tre ( le ho contate) cozze..... senza guscio..... nel mezzo ( costo mi pare tra i 18 e i 20 euro per tre cozze). Giustificazione: abbiamo messo un intero astice in un solo primo. Io commento: premesso che questi due piatti di spaghetti con astice erano al costo di 90 euro...... avrei gradito vedere l'asticella prima della.cottura per verificarne la grandezza..... avete sbagliato la comanda, ci avete lasciato senza bere, andiamo via. Abbiamo pagato il dovuto senza battere ciglio e siamo andati a prendere il caffè al bar. Lo consiglio? Forse i clienti abituali vengono trattati diversamente noi non torneremo nemmeno per un bicchiere d'acqua....
