If you’re not Italian/local you’re experience here will be marred. As something to know, not a bad thing just an FYI, they are very busy during the high season and do not take reservations (like many other good restaurants in the area). So when you arrive you will have to get your name on the list. Non-Italians, be aggressive about this. There is no real queue and people will assume you’ve already put your name down. At night there can be mosquitos while you wait for your table but once inside it’s fine. We arrived at 8 and were seated at 8:30. As someone who does not smoke but knowing it is Italy and a lot of people still smoke, be weary of the smoking area. It is not at all removed from the restaurant and you will notice it if you are nearby. We explained to the host that we had trouble breathing and hoped we could be moved but the host was very nonchalant about it and simply shrugged his shoulders. All it would have taken is for him to move the smoking disposal bin a few feet away from our table (it’s literally within inches of indoor tables and within a few feet of some outside tables) and it would be fine but he clearly couldn’t be bothered. We moved our table back as much as we could. On to the service. It wasn’t great, but again we were not locals but we do speak Italian, nevertheless our “foreignness” showed. I don’t expect good service when in Italy but this was particularly poor. We saw this happen to another non-Italian table. Simple things such as, delay in bringing water, waiting an hour and a half for a main dish, not bringing the third dish we ordered, and responding to simple questions with disdain. On the waiting an hour and a half for food, this was unique to us as all the tables around us received their food in the normal course. Food was just okay - probably would have been better if everything else wasn’t so mediocre. I have no desire to come back but I have no doubt that it will remain popular for locals. I can appreciate this and wish them success but tourists should keep...
Read more❤️ I recently had the pleasure of dining at L’Oasi, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional, especially thanks to our wonderful waiter, Roberta. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal.
The food was absolutely fantastic! We started with the cozze and insalata di mare, both of which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The pizza and pasta dishes were cooked to perfection, with just the right balance of ingredients. The fish was tender and beautifully seasoned, making it a true highlight of the evening.
For dessert, we indulged in a delightful selection that was the perfect ending to our meal. The coffee and wine selection complemented the dishes wonderfully, rounding out a perfect dining experience.
What truly sets L’Oasi apart is the incredible quality of the food at such low prices. It’s rare to find such high-quality dishes that are also so affordable. L’Oasi is a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Italian cuisine served with a smile and at a great value. Thank you to Roberta and the entire team for making our evening so...
Read moreThis restaurant seems to be always fully booked, but if you bring some waiting time you will get a seat in there as soon as possible. It is visited by a nice mixture of tourists and locals. Also the prices for that amount and tasting are really good. We ordered the spaghetti all‘aragosta for 2 but it was pretty much spaghetti with tomato sauce because we barely found any lobster in it (more the shell of it). We also ordered spaghetti carbonara which was very creamy because of the big amount of cream. We would prefer the original without or less cream but it is a matter of taste. Nevertheless, the taste of both was good. One more star less because of the service which seemed to be very stressed. All in all we probably would try this restaurant again and give it a...
