Because of remote location I would suggest taking a Tom Tom as it can be quite difficult to locate. Once there we met Marco at reception, he spoke good English and showed us to our room, explained how everything worked and even gave us a big map of Umbria and circled places to visit.||The room was perfect, we had a little fully equipped kitchen with oven, fridge freezer and table so if we didn't feel like eating out we could cook ourselves. The bedroom had a comfy double bed with wardrope and the bathroom was very clean with a good powerful shower, occasionally the water pressure was low, but would sort itself out within minutes.||The farm itself is a working farm, however it did still look slightly run down due to over growth of bushes and grass, but as the week wore on this was tended too, also it's billed as having a pool, but when we arrived the pool had 10 inches of water in the bottom and looked dirty, again by the time we were leaving this had been sorted but a little late for us.||We ate at the on site restaurant twice during our stay, everything that is provided in the meal is produced organically on the farm including the wine, (the red is highly recommended), there was no menu, the food was brought out dish by dish over 5 courses and was delicious, each meal cost €30 per person, and is served on one big table with everyone else that's stopping there.||Overall if your looking for a traditional stay with basic clean accommodation friendly staff and good food this is the place to stay.||We would reccommend this to anyone and hope to return...

Read moreWe stayed in a 3 bedroom house for a week in June. The views are spectacular (but not from our house). The pool was OK with good sunbeds available although a whole afternoon of the nearby lawns being cut with a strimmer rather than a lawn mower was too much for me.||The house is very rustic - the kitchen had only a hob and a sink - no cupboards at all.||The bathrooms were OK - just although water went everywhere when taking a shower and hung around for ever afterwards.||For some reason although the house would sleep 8 there was only seating in the lounge for 2, 4 at the outside table and 6 at the inside!||The beds were very clean but the rest of the house needed a thorough clean to remove all the cobwebs and tiny dead beetles on the floor.||We did eat in the restaurant one night and were very pleasantly surprised - the meal was excellent value and really tasty - no choices but very good anyway.||It could be wonderful given the setting but it really needs...
