Food (3/5): Bought their restaurant-named pizza "Mattatoio". It was too burnt and the toppings were quite sparingly added. My wife didn't complain about her Capricciosa though.

Service (3/5): It was very crowded and it took a long time to get both our food and the menu. The English menu itself didn't contain any drinks and since we didn't want to stress the waitress out even more we just got something simple.

We stopped at this great pizza restaurant spontaneously on our way home from La Spezia, and we’re so glad we did! Despite not having a reservation, the staff was incredibly helpful and found us a table right away. For a Monday night, the place was packed, which shows just how much the locals love it – and now we understand why!

La mia esperienza presso questo ristorante è stata estremamente deludente sia per la qualità che per il servizio. Avevamo prenotato un tavolo per sette persone alle ore 20:30, con consumazione sul posto.

Già solo per ordinare abbiamo dovuto attendere oltre 20 minuti, ma il problema principale si è verificato dopo: abbiamo aspettato ben 1 ora e 40 minuti abbondanti per ricevere le nostre pizze. La qualità delle pizze era nettamente inferiore rispetto alla mia ultima visita, risalente a Marzo 2024.

Un altro aspetto spiacevole è stata la gestione delle priorità da parte del personale di sala. Le cameriere sembravano dare precedenza ai tavoli già in fase di dessert, il che, pur comprensibile in termini di flusso di lavoro, non giustifica assolutamente un’attesa così lunga. Sono rimasto particolarmente sorpreso nel vedere servito prima di noi un tavolo di sette persone arrivato successivamente, composto da clienti anziani (superfluo dire che ne conviene un’eccedenza culturale - favoritismo al genere anziano per una questione di età).

Un ulteriore punto critico riguarda il menù: alcuni piatti, tra cui le pizze, non erano più disponibili, come confermato dalla cameriera, nonostante fossero ancora presenti in lista. Trovo insensato che il menù non venga aggiornato per riflettere le reali proposte, disponibilità del ristorante.
