Pepe nero — Restaurant in Arresi/Sant'Anna Arresi

Walked in on a Tuesday evening for dinner. We were asked if we had made a reservation (which we hadn't). This was followed by about a 10 minute, absolutely senseless wait until we were seated, although 60% of the tables were unoccupied. On requesting the menu we were told that it would take a while since there was only one menu that was still at the first table and would travel from one table to the next and so on. The waitress was highly ignorant throughout and knew exactly what she was up to. The pace at which things were proceeding we assumed it could take a couple of hours until we ordered, ate and were done with dinner. Hence paid only for the water we ordered + coperto and left. Note to the management: A more polite approach would be to deny service in case of no reservation instead of going about doing...

The service was horrible, waitress was ignorring us, left empty plates on the table for half an hour, no offerings of deserts or coffee. One dish was too much salty, we asked to change it, it took them another 30 min to bring us the dish AND they have included both to the bill, while we have returned one almost untouched. Definitely - NOT reconnended for tourists, as only local people are...

Been there off season.. At least off main season. Thus, there was only one service. The menu was cutely written on a board. But it meant that we had to wait as only one table a time could see it. The primi we choose (polpo ragù) was good. The secondi were ok (salsiccia, tonno). All a bit slow... Maybe it was not the best night. Though not many tables...
