Ristorante Pizzeria City — Restaurant in Arresi/Sant'Anna Arresi

Holidaying in south west Sardinia from the U.K. in mid June 2022, we visited this restaurant for dinner in the heart of Sant' Anna Arresi, along the main road into the town.

We were warmly welcomed.

The venue is clean, well decorated and good atmosphere.

There is seating both indoors and outdoors.

When we asked to sit indoors, the staff turned the air conditioning on to make us feel comfortable as it was a very warm day.

For starters, we shared a mixed plate of cheeses, local meats and olives.

For our main courses we had pasta carbonara plus culurgiornes with mint and potato filling with tomato sauce and pecorino cheese on top - and a melted pecorino cheese on carasau bread accompanied by local bitter honey..

We had some cold bottled water.

The light music playing added to a nice atmosphere.

This is a must visit restaurant - welcoming, excellent atmosphere, nice food, great service...

In short…try rather different place… Really weak tunna steak and swordfish steak, don’t what this fish did to the chef, but he obviously made them well done (poor fish), no spices, no taste. Prenotato e concordato prezzo e menù per cena con largo anticipo,ci ritroviamo con cibo di bassissimo livello, a parte l'antipasto, il primo gnocchi alla campidanese immangiabili, pasta incollata e sugo con il contagocce ma soprattutto il parmigiano sopra e non il pecorino? Il secondo grigliata mista, carne mezza bruciata e dura come la migliore suola di scarpe. Contorno le patatine fritte buone. Il pezzo forte arriva con il conto, da premettere che da contratto avevamo 1/2 litro di birra a testa, ci vengono addebitate oltre al contratto, 20 caraffe da 1 litro e 1/2 in più per 15 persone. Alla nostra domanda di chiarimento ci viene detto che se proprio vogliamo hanno pure a disposizione le registrazioni. Secondo voi le hanno mai fatte vedere?
