We were on a Tuscan trip. That day, it was winter and a Sunday and every place in countryside was closed. We found this pizzeria Il Leccio opened. First thought was: “that’s ok, it’s open. Even if the food is poor, we should eat it”. However, it turned to be a great surprise. The owners were very kind and the food was great. Try the Pici al Carbonara. The nicest and sweetest owners who went above and beyond to make our lunch special! Our meals were soo delicious, and they had gluten free options for pasta and pizza selections. They even brought out an extra plate of seafood pasta when they noticed we were picking at our kids plates. :) Very generous and hospitable altogether! Would love to stop by again when we visit the area...

I could only wish that all shops would have as friendly an owner as pizzeria IL leccio. Good food, excellent, friendly, warm hearted service. My Italian is as good as non-existent and the owners English is basic, but we were able to communicate just fine.
