Agriturismo Tre Tigli — Restaurant in Asti

This is a great agritursimo. It is a working farm, where the farmhouse is set half way up a gentle hill, surrounded by rows and rows of growing grapes, in the countryside close to Asti, Piemonte.||The old farmhouse has a recently added wing, the family lives in the famrhouse while the guest rooms are on the second floor of the new wing over the large dining room/restauant.||The views from the rooms are lovely, just rolling hills with vines as far as the eye could see, the farm is primarily a vineyard with some fruit trees, vegetable garden, boars, chickens, goats, and guinea hens.||It is very tranquil. The rooms are large, the entire place is spotless. Breakfasts are typical - bread and jam and coffe, but they offer dinners on certain days (you need to "book" it in advance) and those ara amazing. The food is very good - the farm lady is known for her cooking - for example, during our stay she provided a lunch to celebrate baby christening in a local family.||The food is very good, and their own wine is lovely (unfortunately, you cannot buy it to take with you as a souvenier, as they do not bottle it , but you can buy their own excellent homemade jams). One warning on the food - there is not a menu really, only "tonight's specials", so if you are let say a vegetarian or have other dietary restrictions, you deninitely should mention this when discussing dinner - the food in this part of Piemonte is quite meat-centered.||The town of Asti is about 20 minutes drive away, and it is not far to Alba and Bra and other small, but delightful towns in this part of Piemonte.||The farm is at the edge of a national park/wildlife preserve, it is a very green, pretty countryside with very relaxing atmosphere.||You need a car to stay there.||We are looking forward to our...

This place is so quiet, tranquil, beautiful and at the same time cosy. It is run by a family, who also resides at the same place. The rooms are clean and of good sizes. We rented an apartment with two rooms and a combined kitchen/living room. There is also a washing machine available when renting an apartment, which is comtable so one does not need to bring much clothes. There is also a restaurant to this little agriturismo. The food is of extraordinary quality and has an authentic and extremely good taste. It is all prepared by mama (and she is good at it).|The agriturismo has a small playground with swings and slide. There are also living stock animals as rabbits, hens, goats, pigs and cats. All allowed for children to watch, while pappa feeds them. |There is also a good size pool, which is cleaned every morning. Our daughter loved swimming in the pool and during the day it was of good temperature, in the heat.|The place is located with views of the hillsides and in the evening one can watch lightning in the sky.|We loved it and would in any case return...
