What a delightful dinner we had at Capriccio! We were on holiday in Ortigia where good restaurants were closed for winter; based on the Guide Michelin, we jumped on a train to Augusta and Capriccio. It was 5 of us, including our 3 young adult children, on the occasion of our daughter's 18th birthday. We all had the Tentazioni tasting menu and everything was somewhere between excellent and outstanding, including a very original, subtle, lightly sweet almond-based dessert, which reminded me of desserts I had in Japan. One of us had dietary restrictions that we had communicated upon booking and were taken care of in a very smart, barely perceptible way. In an extensive wine list, we chose a Grillo from Pantelleria, which was superb. To make everything even more memorable, Cappricio's prices offer value for money that one cannot even dream of in a large European city. We exited just in time for the last train back to Siracusa! Highly...

What a fantastic dining experience! We had never eaten at a Michelin Star rate restaurant before. We went with their Temptation option with the wine pairings and it was a delight from start to finish.

Their website was very easy to use to set the reservations and we chose their first of the day. While we had the whole restaurant to ourselves, the service was still impeccable and the attention to detail was amazing.

There was a happy little surprise at the end with the dessert as we were celebrating our honeymoon. The woman who took care of us spoke English as well and took care to explain everything and answer our questions. It truly was a delightful experience and one we will not soon forget.

One minor suggestion for the restaurant: make your menu available in...

A pleasant surprise to find a Michelin Guide restaurant in the middle of such a charming local town. The restaurant is super cute, not so big as the waitress takes care of all tables & menu, dishes options are many.

We took the A La Carte menu (as I’m one of those annoying people who doesn’t ear raw fish)

The overall experience was very positive, dishes are full of flavors wirh a great attention to details. We strongly recommend the “Tuna, capsicum with the onion jam” part of the second courses menu. We finished the evening on a explosion of flavors with the...

The best seafood I’ve had in my life, presented with perfection and at a reasonable price for what I would consider Michelin star food. This is one of if not the best restaurant I’ve been to in my lifetime and a must visit for anyone in the area with a chance to go. Lovely staff make this even better and what I would say is an above and beyond experience. Worth every penny, and I cannot wait to see it earn much deserved Michelin stars!
