Beautiful place! I am here visiting for a few weeks and was told by a family friend that this is the best place for fresh shellfish. My boyfriends and I were craving oysters and mussels, our expectations were well exceeded! The oysters were a perfect size and you could tell they were fresh from the ocean! We made a mussels and pasta dish for dinner and are still thinking about that those mussels today! Bruno Agliano, the owner, was extremely helpful and kind. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions! I will, most definitely be visiting again next time I...

Originally from Massachusetts now living in Phoenix Arizona ! Visted Sicily and had the pleasure of dining at La Cozza d'Oro one of the best Seafood restaurants we have dine at ! The freshest and delicious seafood establishment with items from Oysters to Mussels to Pasta alle vongole to pasta con aragoste thats clams or lobsters fried and raw seafood etc nice wine selections but most of all friendly and great location looking over the water !!...

Being from Tampa Florida we know lots about good seafood ! La Cozza d’Oro of Augusta has superb quality of seafood from oysters to mussels to clams and so much more ! We dined at their restaurant and Cettina the head chef along with Maurizio and Bruno were most accommodating helpful and everything was delicious prices were fantastic and location and atmosphere wonderful ! We highly recommend La Cozza d’Oro if you visit...

Ristorante di pesce ad Augusta! Siamo stati ieri sera a cena e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il locale è una terrazza aperta molto ariosa con molti ventilatori che dà sulla porta spagnola di Augusta. Il gestore è gentilissimo e sempre con la battuta pronta che ti fa ridere e ti fa passare una bellissima serata. Il cibo è sublime, lo si vede anche entrando nel locale ed è presente una vasca con tutte pesce e molluschi freschissimi. Io non amo il pesce ma qui avrei mangiato veramente di tutto, noi in particolare abbiamo provato il polpo alla luciana( 2 in realtà perché c'è n'è ha portata una seconda porzione), delle bruschette, delle cozze gratinate( offerte), due impepate di cozze, spaghetti allo scoglio e alle vongole e due sorbetti(anche questi offerti) = circa 98€ prezzo onestissimo e cibo davvero fantastico, un apprezzamento in particolare al polipo alla luciana e alla cozze gratinate, erano davvero buonissimi. Molti piatti naturalmente senza lattosio. Un ringraziamento speciale alla madre del gestore, una signora squisita che mi ha consigliato un posto lì vicino da andare a visitare. Dò 5 stelle perché non solo il cibo era buonissimo ma l'atmosfera, le risate e la simpatia del gestore meritano perché ti fanno sentire a casa.

One word: AWESOME! The food is absolutely delicious, the stuff is extremely friendly, and the total experience was outstanding. I had Linguine with crab and there is no words to explain how cool it was! Thank you! Definitely must visit in Augusta. PS: we wanted to have an early dinner but they start serving food on Saturday at 8 pm, better to reserve a table as it was full.
