Ottomano in Ischia provides a memorable dining experience, seamlessly blending fresh seafood with authentic Italian flavors. From the moment you step in, the restaurant's warm ambiance and attentive service set the stage for a culinary journey through the region's finest offerings. Here's a personalized review based on your delightful choices: The calamari and octopus dishes were a standout, given their multiple appearances on my plate. Both were tender and flavorful, with the calamari crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the octopus cooked to a tender perfection, highlighting its delicate texture and rich taste. This classic Italian dish, with layers of eggplant, rich tomato sauce, and melted cheese, offered a comforting and hearty contrast to the seafood. The flavors were well-balanced, with the eggplant tender and the sauce rich and savory. Fresh and succulent, the mussels were steamed to perfection and served with a flavorful broth, likely enhanced with garlic, white wine, and herbs. The broth added a depth of flavor, making the dish both refreshing and satisfying. The catch of the day, always a highlight at seafood restaurants, showcased the freshest local fish, cooked simply to let its natural flavors shine. Whether grilled, baked, or seared, the fish was moist, flaky, and delicious. To round off your meal, the baba dessert offered a sweet and indulgent treat. This sponge cake soaked in rum and syrup, often served with whipped cream or fruit, was a perfect way to end your dining experience with its rich, moist texture and sweet flavors.
The service at Ottomano was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who ensured that every detail of your dining experience was perfect. The ambiance, with its warm and inviting atmosphere, complemented the exquisite food, making your meal not just a dining experience but a memorable occasion.

We are always well treated and the service is also fast. Definitely try the bruschette (tomato and onion - incredible) and the chocolate caprese cake was the best I have ever had. Grazie!!! Definitely recommend. If you are a guest at the Hotel La Mandorla you have a 10% which is a nice...
Read moreOttimo ristorante a conduzione familiare. Personale gentile e cortese. Ambiente familiare e cibo impeccabile.
