Taverna Del Fiorentino — Restaurant in Barberino Tavarnelle

This was so weird experience. I am still in shock. We made a reservation at this place, because the day before it was fully booked.

We made the reservation only because of the good reviews on google and some pictures of food which looked contemporary and kind of fancy.

When we arrived the owner and waiter in one person runned like 20 minutes around other guests and did not pay any attention to us.

We did not understand the menu on the walls so he translted all. But…

We ordered fish soup, tagliatelle with truffles , beef slices and glass of wine.

We wanted to split fish soup as a starter, but we recieved splited tagliatelle instead. Tagliatelle were quite ok, but nothing special for 20euro.

We started to notice that something is going wrong here, but we didnt want to react, because resturant was really full and the waiter busy)

Another fail was when Instead of fish soup I recieved a bowl of sea food 🙈

Another fail was that the beef meat was full of tendons, really not good meat…. and the salad was bitter with no dressing.

We had also glas of white wine which was also very everage and tasted cheap.

Our bill was 66,50 eur. The prices are really high for the quality of the food!!! Please be aware of that! !!!

You can recieve way more better service in different places.

Maybe we made a bad choices, maybe we got in wrong time… but… we definitelly dont recomend the restaurant from our experience.

Maybe for locals its a good choice, but when you are traveller, you have a car, go and find something good.

Eat in Florence instead. Because this was a terrible...
