Ristorante Pizzeria Waikiki — Restaurant in Bardonecchia

The single worst service experience I've ever had, first one star I've ever given. Service was absolutely Wankiki, we booked a table following a previous hour long wait for a pizza (we were told a 15min wait, lies), expecting service to be much quicker, they took our drinks order straight away and we had them within 5 mins, so we thought everything would go smoothly from that point. After that, despite not being very busy, our order wasn't taken for over an hour, whilst Italians around us were having orders taken despite being seated after us. I'm fairly sure some of the staff, especially the female bar manager often seen chewing gum and listening to music with headphones in, were actively discriminating against foreigners. Everytime we asked how long before our order would be taken they said 2 mins, this from about 20 mins into the wait, We wouldn't have minded if they warned us it could be an hour or more rather than "trapping" us in the way they did, we would have paid for drinks and left for somewhere where the managing staff aren't utterly incompetent and rude. At one point our first server, who sorted our drinks, was coming back to our table to take our order then the gum lady intervened and told him to go serve someone else, this was 30 mins into the wait after getting drinks. Finally after about 55 mins, a second server was sent to take our order, we had two vegetarians with us who wanted their pizzas without meat, and this was communicated effectively to our server who clearly understood, yet somehow after our server spoke to the bar manager again, the pizzas came with meat on them, almost as if she'd said "f* them, put meat on them anyway." to our server. After ordering, all 7 pizzas came very quickly, within 10 minutes, so I really don't understand why we were kept waiting so long for the second time in 3 days, other than discrimination. On our last day of skiing, what should of been a 30min break turned into 2 hours of chaos, and ski passes are expensive, we were extremely tempted to walk out, in fact it was only after we put our coats on as if getting ready to go that our order was taken. And i'm not even going to mention the mandatory service charge fee of 15%, they should have been paying us for our wasted valuable skiing time. They didn't even come to collect our bill when we wanted to pay and leave, after waiting another 20mins to pay.

Definitely one of the best pizza bases i've ever had and definitely one of my top 5 pizzas, the dough is masterfully crafted with skill and superior ingredients, all of the toppings great quality and their brick pizza oven leaves delicious patches of char over the crust to give that authentic bite and flavour. Not 5/5 because the tomato sauce was a little too watery, could do with being reduced by a 1/3rd so it holds together better when sliced, but that's only minor. The chef should leave and go work for a much better restaurant as his skills are overshadowed by the poor service from the front of house.

Excellent if you're italian but be prepared to be kept waiting if you're not. It's a shame because this place could easily be the best spot in Bardonecchia for food, drinks, to the owner please sort out your front of house, and hire more staff during busy periods then you will get a lot more repeat business, I could have easily eaten those pizzas everyday while I was there if the staff weren't so rude. Most people wouldn't mind paying a little more for the food if it means you can afford well mannered trained staff instead, especially if it cuts...

If you're just looking for a drink it's a good place to go, however don't bother if you want food.

First visit we spent 50mins waiting for a pizza when they told us 20 mins.

Second visit we booked a table in the hope of faster service, but we were ignored for an hour at our table, and then waited a further 20mins for the food. Upon paying there was absolute carnage over paying the bill between just a small group. And as a finishing touch there is a mandatory 10% charge on your bill for service.

The staff were very rude and unhelpful. Very frustrating as the food...

Waikiki pizzeria e bar perfetto per colazione pranzo o cena. Alla.partenza degli impianti del Melezet è perfetto per stagione invernale e estiva. La struttura è grande bella curata e attrezzata. Ci sono tavoli interni,tavoli nel dehors coperto e all'esterno tavoli di legno provvisti.di ombrellone. Sono presenti lettini e salta salta per i bambini e due campi da pallavolo e tiro con l'arco gratuito...insomma posto ideale per sportivi famiglie e tavolate di giovani. Per quanto.riguarda il cibo non posso che consigliare di andare a provare questa pizzeria. Le pizze sono davvero buone e le focacce sono favolose. Consiglio quella al lardo di Arnaud che quando la finirete ...penserete solo che ne volete ordinare un'altra,idem per la focaccia mortadella ricotta e scorza di limone perfetta in una serata d'estate. Il personale è davvero gentile presente e sempre attento a ogni bisogno dei clienti,un complimento speciale alle ragazze che servono ai tavoli perché sono veloci educate e attente. Ultima chicca fanno un super Bubble tea che sia grandi o piccini devono provare perché ci sono davvero tanti gusti di sciroppi e di bubble per fare mille combinazione diverse e come dice mia figlia ...."solo qui danno così tante palline" . Insomma che siate in bici in moto o per un fine settimana con la.famiglia consiglio.sicuramente di passare di qui per la location immersa nel verde e per una pizza sicuramente tra le più buona di...
