I would like to start with the positive impressions: -You are received politely -A large wine selection

Let me say in advance: we, four people, are already in Piedmont for the second time and enjoy the wines, the landscape and especially the food here. We are also familiar with star-rated cuisine and can certainly draw comparisons here. Unfortunately, I must now move on to the negative: -the cutlery still had stains without exception (probably spooling machine; even the hint did not change that) the wine accompaniment to the Earth menu was, with the exception of one dish, very questionable (as is well known, one can "argue" about that) -there was asparagus advertised on the menu, which was no longer to be found on the plate (after consulting the chef, the statement was that it is no longer asparagus season. I have to ask myself why it is still on the menu). -we were sitting outside next to the entrance to the kitchen and unfortunately heard a constant noise, probably the kitchen's extractor fan. A hint about it was explained with a technical defect and they couldn't change anything. The interesting thing is that when the main courses for all the guests were ready, the extractor went off.

In summary, I am sorry to say that I cannot understand the star awarded to...

We stayed at both the Locanda and the Ristorante for 2 nights and 3 days. It was our last accommodation in Italy — and it gave us the happiest memories of the whole trip.

Thanks to the incredibly kind staff, we were able to relax and feel completely at ease. The pool was private and perfect for enjoying family time, and the facilities were spotless. The rooms were much nicer and cozier than I expected — everything felt warm and welcoming.

We had dinner at the restaurant and went for the traditional course. The flavors weren’t flashy, but maybe that’s why it felt more comforting and easy to enjoy. The pairing with the wine was just right — really satisfying in a quiet, lovely way.

Thanks for making our 2025 family trip to Italy even more special. And that little surprise gift at the end…🥹 It was such a thoughtful touch — we’ll treasure it for sure. Already dreaming of coming...

Not up to our expectations. Not our first starred and by far a disappointment. We had the Primavera and the Végétale menus. The food was bland and very common. Tempuras were greasy and overcooked. Rabbit was tough and mushy at the same time. The chou cream amuse-bouche was cardboard-like (and so old fashion…) The previous day, we had far better experiences in 2 BIB in Bra for half the price. It was mid August for lunch and only 5 guests including the 3 of us. Maybe the chef was on holidays ? Maybe their strong point is the wine but we are not drinkers so we have no...

It's ok.. and there are better ones. Quality of the products is definitely impeccable, combinations rather traditional and sometimes quite off (like a raw langoustine with avocado.. the art of killing not enhancing a subtle flavor). Service was great until it was around 2300.. if you tell them twice you'd like to finish your wine before having a coffee and they already start serving the friandises to go with the coffee without the coffee that is outright wrong. If you're in a hurry (quite some tables still with guests) let us know, this is not ok.

Un we perfetto. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
