Bar Ristorante Pizzeria Pisaneddu — Restaurant in Baunei

Nice large place just outside Baunei, with a large terrace/balcony and indoor seating as well for the restaurant, and a separate side for the pizzeria. The menu is varied and of quality. There's a great selection of pasta, you can ask for different sauce/pasta combinations, for example we asked for spaghetti alle olio for our 3 year old daughter. I recommend any pasta al ragù from local goat.

The beef is quite good, surprised me as I, being from Argentina, have been struggling in that department so far in Europe. The sea dishes are also really nice.

The craft beer is also good, and a nice touch to have a more complete offering.

Reservation is practically mandatory in the peak season, and the parking arrangements are a total chaos, so try to get there in time and don't be afraid to accommodate your vehicle in a really tight spot, or you'll have to park at a scenic opening a couple hundred meters...

Pisaneddu is an absolute gem! We came back several times during our vacation—and each visit was a treat.

We walked to the restaurant from Baunei, it's ok to do with phone torches in the evening. It's a lovely atmosphere but we were quite disappointed with the food. We had the prawn (which was ok), and the beef which was really (really) chewy. For the price and the "poshness" of the restaurant this was a surprise. But what we've learned is not to order meat in the area. The service wasn't great as they never checked on us, but I think I'll put it down to the language barrier.
