Il Bacher — Restaurant in Berceto

A friend of mine invited me and my family for a dinner but without telling us the place. We followed his car to find out that this was the place. I've never been here before but just from the look of the building, I knew it would have been a wonderful experience. And so it was. The restaurant is truly beautiful. It's a mixture of old and new, merged together in a perfect balance. We were seated upstairs. The tables are properly organised in the room so that there's space to walk around and it doesn't get crowded. Our kids took the opportunity to play around them. Luckily, when food arrived, they changed their plans and back to our table. The menu is only online apparently which is not a problem, as soon as you don't have to scroll infinite times to get through the full list. Luckily, it wasn't the case. The online pages are properly organised and there aren't more than 8/10 options for each part of the dinner (starter, first plate, second, dessert). The real problem is what to order. I wanted at least 2 of each one. The main ingredient is the mushrooms. I can guarantee that they know how to cook them. The fried ones in particular were fantastic. Each plate was special and taste amazing, from the starter to the dessert. The service was kind, helpful and quick. The atmosphere was perfect. The only thing I can't give my feedback is about the price since my (too kind) friend decided to offer the dinner. I've no idea how much he spent. But the prices in the menu sounded reasonable. I usually take photo of my plates. This time I managed to do it only for few of them. The temptation to dig my fork and enjoy it was too much to remember to take a photo before. Sorry. We had a delightful experience dining at Il Bacher Ristorante in Berceto. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and delicious. From the first bite, we could tell that the chefs took pride in sourcing high-quality ingredients and crafting their dishes with care. We particularly enjoyed how flavors balanced so well, making each dish memorable.

Our group consisted of four adults and a 15-month-old child, and we were pleasantly surprised at how accommodating the staff were to ensure everyone felt comfortable, especially our little one. They went out of their way to cater to our family’s needs, providing a high chair and ensuring that the dining environment was friendly for the child.

The restaurant itself is charming, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The interior is well-maintained, and there’s a lovely balance between rustic elegance and modern comfort. It’s the perfect place for a relaxed meal while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of Berceto.

This place is excellent as a stop from the highway, as you loose only two minutes or so. From the terrace of the restaurant, there is a nice view on the surrounding mountains and you do not hear the highway. Lots of parking space available.

The food is good, the staff very friendly. Prices in itself for food are reasonable, the price for the “coperto” (service charge) is 3€ per person, which is then slightly expensive for (bigger) families.
