Avoid. Yes, the view is spectacular but this is where it ends. Reviewing as a restaurant diner, not a hotel guest. We had very high hopes for this place based on the location and the reviews. The man who took our booking earlier in the day was also very friendly. However, this was the worst and yet - frustratingly - most expensive meal we had on our holiday in Sardinia. The menu looked good, but the food was bland and unexciting. The service was clumsy and not particularly cheery. The music being played was more depressing than relaxing. Closed mussels were served with the Fregula - not really acceptable when there is only a handful in the dish - and was devoid of any real flavour. The tomato sauce with the tagliolini was bland, and the catch of the day was overcooked and dry. DO NOT order the lamb; it’s basically a ladle of bad Shepard’s pie filling inside a pappadum. We also had to share a pepper mill with other tables - there was only about 6 other tables dining. On the plus side, the olive oil was excellent. We did complain but the language barrier made it hard to put our point across (obviously not their fault). Fundamentally, the place is taking advantage of the beautiful view but completely missing the mark - this place should be incredible. We paid 120EUR to find out so you don’t have to -...

After a 6-day round trip, we arrived at Pedramare. The service from the various staff members was truly excellent — very friendly and laid-back. We were given a room that had once been used to hang salami a few years ago. The room was spacious, and upon arrival, we received a bottle of water and a bag of chips. The beds were wonderfully comfortable.

But the real reason you come here is the view. The sunset is stunning. At sunrise, the sun appears from behind the mountains (around 8 to 8:30 a.m.).

Early in the morning, the gardener was tending to the plants with some sort of plant extract. Tip: make sure you’re not outside at that time, as it can make you feel nauseous and cause coughing. That said, we were sleeping directly in the spray’s path — though we didn’t know that beforehand, haha!

Later, the owner checked us out and pointed us to a fantastic beach near Bosa. Her passion really shines through. It was the most expensive night of our stay in Sardinia, but for a one-night stay, we’d...

I photographed a lot of weddings in Pedramare during the last 2 years. I highly recommend it. One of the best venue for your wedding reception in Alghero, Sardinia. The seaview on Capo Caccia is speachless, the food is great. Nice place for the children too. I make some creative photos with very nice light during the sunset. You can't be wrong with Pedramare. Thanks
