Ristorante Chez Des Amis — Restaurant in Bolano

We were quite surprised with the services here, we showed up around 8:00pm for dinner (without reservations) and fortunately, they gave us the last table that was left. The restaurant was quite crowded. We were waiting for 45 mins (to be exact) with just a bottle of tap water which was not free (3€ of charge, check out my bill!) then the waitress showed up and explained what were the dinner choices (without the menu) fortunately, she speaks English. So we took an entree and an main dish each. Ordering food without knowing the price is quite worrying to us. Seafood were fresh and delicious. The portion for the main dish was quite big, I couldn’t finished it all. The waitress and services were nice and welcoming. The price was surprising (without knowing it in advance) so at the end, we find it quite pricy compare to other restaurants...

Si mangia bene ma non curano l'accoglienza del cliente . Volevo un preventivo e sono andata apposta a mangiare lì, dopo cena mi hanno detto "richiamaci al telefono perché ora siamo pieni non possiamo " (va bene lo accetto ) "Però domani no , dopodomani no e dopodomani ancora ...forse sì" ! chiedo se poi mi diranno tutto per telefono visto che sono partita apposta per andare lì , mi dice "certo" ! Richiamo tre giorni dopo , la solita ragazza mi risponde che ormai é stanca perché é tutta la mattina che é al telefono (sono le 10:00 😳 ! A che ora dovevo chiamare ? ) per preventivi, e di ripassare da loro un'altra volta, e di prendere un appuntamento perché al telefono non mi dice niente. Insomma ti fanno sempre sentire che sei di troppo e che sei l'ultimo dei loro problemi. Ora ho capito la recensione dove dicono che se la tirano . Altro problema, il menù non esiste , quindi quando la cameriera può, si ferma e ti dice a voce le portare , senza dire i prezzi . Così dopo esserti annoiato mezz'ora o più ad aspettare quando avresti potuto usare quel tempo per leggere un menù pregustando le portare come si fa di solito al ristorante , devi ordinare al volo senza avere il tempo di pensare con calma a cosa scegliere, e poi i prezzi li devi chiedere ,ed è scocciante . Fun find while passing through the area. The lunch was fantastic, we two different daily pasta specials, spaghetti with bacon and classic tomato sauce.

Service was very friendly and spoke English. The house red wine was very good with the lunch.
