If you want truly delicious italian food, cozy ambiance, and friendly caring staff while at the Dolomites this is the place. We stopped by during late afternoon after a long drive in and they were kind enough to take us and prepare a meal (when most other restaurants are closed at the time). We got the Pizza Maxi Stewan and it was incredibly tasty. It came quickly and cut on a massive cutting board and was everything you dream a wood fired italian pizza would be. While it was “surprise 50cm pizza” our waiter explained that it was like 3 different kinds of Italian pizzas in one. He also offered and took our picture after we were taking our own picture if the pizza with awe. We paired the meal with the Par Nei and Miele Castagno beers that were recommended to us. The notes of honey in the white craft beer was a unique and unforgettable experience. For dessert we couldn't resist getting the Panna Cotta and Apple pastry that our lovely waiter also recommended. It was a perfect taste combination of citrus, sweet, rich, and classic you travel here for. The meal was also well priced and the restaurant was traditionally decorated beautifully. Our service was perfecto! And the food absolutely fantastico!!! Hoping one day to get a chance to stop by again. Thank you for the wonderful meal and experience Pizzeria Gastronomia...

Great food and typical country side eatery ambience. Stefan the owner has been making pizza here since last 38 years and has perfected his craft to an artisans level. Delicious range of fresh wood fired oven made pizzas. Also an amazing Goulash with polento, canderli, smoked salmon & shrimp salad and a mouth watering panacotta. They also have a range of local craft beers and wines. Rates are very reasonable. Marco the serving attendant is warm, pleasing and quick to respond. Overall a wonderful experience. We visited twice during our stay in this region and would highly...

We sat here because of the reviews but we were left a little bit disappointed. The staff were not polite, they were so eager to take our order 2mins after seating that the waitress was mad because we weren’t ready. When we ordered.. we had to wait more than 35mins to get our salad. Salad - absolute disappointment. Spaghetti Carbonara were so tasteless.. On the bright side, Calzone was delicious but even that could not remedy the attitude of the waitress and the tasteless food. For what we got, I felt...
