One of the best places anywhere in Italy. If you like fancy and elegant, forget it. But if you have a car and like traditional, real Italian food and hospitality and incredibly friendly and gracious hosts and absolutely delicious food, you will love this place. We made friends with the other local patrons and with the hosts. The pranzo was exceptional. Stinco alla birra ! Not many places to get this. Minestrone so pure and fresh. Pane fatta in casa and the best. Great wine selection. (We had the Ruche, fantastico) Torta marmellata melts in your mouth and bonet amazing. We feel so fortunate to have found it and we will come back for sure. People who know come all the way from Genova to eat here. We had to come back again so I am adding to my review. I’ve never had lumache (escargot) prepared like this. Alla contadina. With pomodoro sauce and literally from a garden! Not bought in a store. And usually if you order escargot you’ll get probably 6. Cari Genovesi e Cari Tutti. Ieri sono andato con mia moglie a mangiare in questa accogliente trattoria dove i due titolari ci hanno fatto sentire come "a casa"! La cucina è Tipica Piemontese e genuina, con materie prime di qualità, con piatti preparati sul momento ed una fantastica farinata. Abbiamo assaporato le pennette al ragù (una delizia) e il vitello tonnato (si scioglieva in bocca). Ottimo il servizio, ambiente confortevole dove si mangia in piena convivialità con gli altri commensali. Buono il vino rosso sfuso della casa. Voi direte e i dolci? Beh non fateveli scappare tutti rigorosamente legati alla tradizione Piemontese (come i primi ed i secondi... vi consiglio di guardare la locandina del menù che ho pubblicato e vi verrà l'acquolina in bocca)... semplicemente DELIZIOSI...... da vero Gourmet. una valutazione sui prezzi: ...... beh veramente OTTIMI!!!
