I have stayed here twice, both times over 5 years ago. I will be visiting Bologna in two weeks and will make a separate trip just to return to this wonderful place. It is located in the country, on a quiet street. The two rooms I stayed in were very comfortable, quiet, great bathrooms. The breakfast served was one of the best I've had in my 10 trips to Italy. Service was consistently lacking with a 30 min wait after seating to take an order, wait staff who were not available when needed, confusion about what was ordered and a general lack of attentiveness that was really unexpected. The 76 page wine list was not available except on the tiny screen of a cell phone. I found the serving sizes to be very small. The food was very good to excellent and the deserts were outstanding.
