We've been coming here for quite some time, and I must say, it's a delightful meal every time! It is a trattoria that serves typical Tuscan dish. For the antipasti, the Tagliere Toscano is what you should take if you wanna open your palette! 1st plate is pastas and they let you choose which type you want and a wide variety of sauces to go with it. My personal favorites are the home-made chittara pasta with the parmagiano and pancetta sauce, also the tagliatelle pasta with the tartuffo sauce is absolutely delicious! For 2nd plate, there's a decent choices and you can never go wrong with a grilled meat plate. Some of sweets are home-made too! I love their version of the crème brûlée. Staffs are friendly and especially that guy (I haven't gotten his name) He is very attentive towards me and my son. He even gave my son a free candies. 😍 The ambience of this restaurant is...

Dining at La Locanda, in the hamlet of Pietraviva near Radda in Chianti, was one of the most memorable evenings of our 2 week trip. This lively little restaurant (which also has a well stocked deli) serves authentic, delicious & ample portions of handmade pasa with seasonal sauces, grilled meats, desserts and, of course, great wine all for reasonable prices. Staff are attentive & helpful (their English is much better than our rudimentary Italian) and meeting some of the locals who dine here was delightful. Highly recommended if you are...

Wonderful meal, great atmosphere, and friendly welcoming staff in this deli come restaurant in the tiny village of Pietraviva. Great menu including vegetarian and vegan options. Choose the type of pasta and match with your choice of sauce. The local pasta, lunghini, with aglioni (delicate garlic flavour that doesn't talk back later!) was absolutely delicious. Seasonal selection of delicious , home made, desserts. The apple and blackberry tart was so flavourful. Can't wait to go for...

The restaurant was from a recommended list provided by Borgo Rapale, we had no reservation so we were grateful they gave us a table as it was a Saturday night and they were busy. We had the most beautiful meal starting with crostini, variety of meats/cheeses followed by fresh and tasty pasta and delicious desserts. The atmosphere and service was 10/10 and excellent value. I would 100% recommend.
