No fake news here! As fussy foodies who have grown up on Friulano and Venetian food made by their nonni and zii we are rarely impressed by food outside the home. This evening was a rare exception! The drive up the collina was well worth it. The panoramic view of Aviano and area from above was captivating. All the food was sheer deliciousness: the sharing antipasto was a capo lavoro, the frico was delightfully light (vs heavy), the degustazione (tasting) platter had a variety of delicious but we were blown away by the salami grilled and served in cream and the tortino dei funghi. The owner is clearly an appassionato about his region, it’s history and certainly it’s food. For those requiring help in English, no problem....

Very good quality local cuisine. The menu changes slightly with the seasons. The pappardelle is good no matter the sauce. The ravioli is also always good, however be warned it comes with a lot of butter in the sauce. The antipasti plates are delicious. The meats and cheeses are the best round and super local. The house wine here is also some of the best around. They are back to making pizza (there was a hiatus due to COVID). The first one I had would make me get it every everytime. The location is nice with good views over Budoia and the valley. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is really nice and friendly and speaks a lot of English if that's important to you. Great place for aperativo or...

This place has a beautiful view and big windows to enjoy it. The Tortelli Casercci is the best thing on the menu and if you don't try it you are absolutely missing out. We will return for this dish alone. The Asparagus Lasagna is also delicious although at times can get a little too browned. Note that the pizza oven is only open in the evening. Our kids were delighted by the Winnie the Pooh Pizza. It is a cheese pizza with french fries so our children were delighted. It's their view of Master Chef quality. The service was fabulous and people friendly. But don't miss out on the...

Such a nice location that is easily within a short distance and you're about half way up the mountain. The views alone are very enjoyable. They might have the best tagliere in the area, a little bit pricey but really good quality meats and cheeses. Depending on the season there are a lot of seating areas. Winter is really cozy with the fireplace.

Delicious food, beautiful views, and friendly staff! Pet-friendly and the hosts spoke English with me. I loved the jazz music they played in the background that fit perfectly with the beautiful, local atmosphere and I recommend this restaurant for a relaxing and pleasant experience 😊
