Everything on the menu has been grown or reared on the property itself which only adds to the charm and beauty of this delicious little restaurant.

Remarkably interesting and unique dishes from spectacular porchetta prosciutto and bizarrely good beetroot dumplings, to partially sundried tomato ravioli that explode with flavour, and a perfectly cooked entrecôte.

All this without mentioning the exceptional golden lantern lighting which makes you feel like you’re on a film set, and the warmth of owner Alex who can walk you through exactly how he makes everything himself, from the desserts to the digestifs.

Greiterhof is a must...

There is a purity to this restaurant that is truly special. The ascent alone is exciting. Upon entry, there is smoke and warmth, a gentle greeting, and an irresistibly beautiful and calm dog. It is like entering someone’s home, rustic and lovingly maintained. The food is unfussy and traditional, but made with care and seasoned very well. Understated and elegant simplicity prevail. Dietary restrictions are accommodated, though it is most enjoyable to simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the day’s set menu....

Wir bedanken uns für eine wundervolle Woche unserer Hochzeitsreise in der Wohnung Adlerhorst. Die Aussicht hätte nicht atemberaubender sein können - ebenso wenig wie die Gastfreundschaft der Familie.

„Nachteil“, der wunderbaren Aussicht ist lediglich die recht lange Anfahrt aus dem Tal von ca. 25 Minuten mit dem Auto über eine sehr enge Straße, was jedoch regional bedingt nachvollziehbar ist - dies muss jedoch in die Planung der Ausflüge der schönen Umgebung eingerechnet werden. Wer Ruhe, Ursprünglichkeit und regionale Küche sowie Natur und Nachhaltigkeit sucht, wird hier voll auf seine Kosten kommen. Regional bedeutet jedoch auch, dass die Speisen in der Regel vorgegeben sind und man nur selten a la carte bestellen kann. Alle Getränke sind Hausgemacht, wer Pommes, Cola oder andere Getränke „von der Stange“ sucht, wird hier nicht fündig werden - was wir jedoch als Pluspunkt und Alleinstellungsmerkmal werten - dessen muss man sich nur bewusst sein.
