We first visited the the Andreas Hofer Museum and the old farm houses that are next to the restaurant. Here a glimpse of them.

I was amazed that so many people only visited the restaurant. The museum is one of the most beautiful museums I have seen. So much explained about Tirol and it’s long history.

The old buildings are absolutely stunning and you should really visit them.

The Leberknödel soup was delicious as well as my Apfelstrudel.

So my advice is, take half a day, visit the museum and after that sit down at the restaurant and enjoy the good...

You can’t just “cover it in sauce” and pass a vegan patty off as meat. It didn’t just taste like garbage, I was genuinely offended with how little respect they had for us by serving this garbage. Hallo St. Leonhard Fans, waren heute wie jedes Jahr zu Beginn des Urlaubs im Sandwirt. Die ganzen letzten Jahre waren wir mit dem Essen und dem Service hoch zufrieden! Was bisher richtig gut war, ist es jetzt genau das Gegenteil😢. Ich möchte vorab aufklären, dass ich nicht derjenige bin andere schlecht zu reden eher das Gegenteil! Wenn ich aber absolut nicht zufrieden bin, dann sollen und müssen andere dieses erfahren. Schon beim Verteilen der Speisekarte, mussten wir eine klebrige und müffelnde Karte entgegennehmen. Nachdem wir bestellt hatten, bin ich auf die Toilette, dort traf ich einen der beiden Kellner, der gerade mit seinem großen Geschäft fertig war, er hat sich kurz die Hände gewaschen 👍, leider aber ohne Seife😭 Weiter ging es damit, dass man ein Essen komplett vergessen hatte zu servieren! Das Essen kurz gesagt, kann man essen, muss aber kein zweites Mal sein! Liebes Sandwirtteam bitte versucht es viel besser zu machen, ansonsten gebe ich euch wenig Chancen!
