I recently enjoyed a delightful late dinner at L'Agreria in Nuseto, Sicily. Despite it being one of the few restaurants open past 8pm, it stood out with its elegant charm. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the friendly server who provided excellent recommendations on local specials.

We started with the insalata contadina, a refreshing and flavorful salad. For the main course, we savored the busiata cinghiale, a rich and hearty wild boar pasta, and the tagliata di scottona, a perfectly cooked and tender beef dish. The patate al forno was a delicious side that complemented our meal beautifully. We concluded our dining experience with a heavenly cassata for dessert.

If you’re anywhere near this place, you absolutely have to go! The staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming. There’s even a play area with Signora Valentina, who takes care of everything and makes sure everyone feels at home. The restaurant is top-notch, with stunning views and excellent food!

From the moment you arrive, the team greets you so warmly that you instantly feel like you’re among friends. The advice we got on food choices was spot-on, and the wine recommendation matched our taste perfectly.

The service is outstanding, and the food is simply amazing—from the starters to the pizza. They even made a special pasta al pomodoro for our daughter! The meat was of local quality, grilled to perfection, and the desserts were absolutely delicious.

As a Coeliac, I felt so safe and looked after at this beautiful restaurant. The view is stunning, and I had so much choice of meals that they could make gluten-free for me. The staff went above and beyond for us all, with friendliness and recommendations (like a local wine and choice of steak). I shared some arrosticini with my family as a starter, and then ordered tagliata di scottona as a main, which were both delicious.

If you don't speak any Italian, you'll want to have Google Translate on your phone (or similar) to translate the menu. The access driveway is quite steep and uneven, and our hire car didn't cope with it very well, but the restaurant itself is very well presented and cared for. We're very glad to have found it!
