From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, with staff who seemed to anticipate every need while allowing us to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The food was beautifully presented and refreshingly light—each dish balanced in flavor and easy on the stomach, perfect for a leisurely meal.

If you’re a fan of Simon Rogan, you’re going to love this place. It is the closest to L’Enclume that we have found in Italy, dedicated to serving food foraged, grown, raised and hunted in the hills around the restaurant. A la carte or a selection of themed tasting menus (we went for the 5-course Radici Profonde menu) and a superlative wine list combine with personable yet unobtrusive service to leave us with an evening that will linger long in our memories.

The tiled floors and bare windows I am sure provide a cooler summer atmosphere but in the autumnal chill of a late October evening it left us feeling a little cold (a blanket was readily to hand, however) and perhaps the bathrooms could have been better arranged, but I am being fussy.
