Ristorante Pizzeria Lago di Legri — Restaurant in Calenzano

Awesome place for a lunch break en route Florence to Venice. It was tucked in the moutains with a nice pond for fishing at the doorstep. Seafood was very fresh and hospitality was warm. We had a nice break from the buildings and architecture in this little quiet piece of land surrounded by nature. It seems to be a relatively popular spot for pond fishing. Back to the food, we had a delicious grilled seafood platter, parpadella with wild boar and the mussels soup paired with a Gewürztraminer made with local grapes. A really happy and satisfying meal and would recommend for anyone travelling in the area looking for a lunch experience away from the hustle and bustle...

Ho scelto questo luogo per mangiare qualcosa con gli amici, ho prenotato il tavolo. Ma quando siamo arrivati nessuno ci ha accolto e messo a sedere, ma con molta fatica abbiamo chiesto (inascoltati), alla fine in due abbiamo preso con forza un lavorante e ci ha messo al tavolo. Che faticaccia, un addetto alla ricezione clienti dovrebbe esserci.. Sul luogo niente da dire, si presenta bene, sfrutta il clima fresco della valle di Leggi. Il locale confortevole con stile, seduta molto comoda e tavolo ampio... Abbiamo avuto i menù e per ordinare abbiamo bloccato un cameriere operoso.. Ci ha portato il bere richiesto, ordinato il cibo... ( Due crostini misti), antipasto di mare per due, un tortelli patate formaggio e pere. Quattro pizze. Una crema catalana ed un tiramisù. Qualità del cibo... In generale buono ma non buonissimo. Il piatto debole, sicuramente l' impasto della pizza, panosa e poco digeribile. Per il resto . Ottimo i dessert e gli antipasti, gradevole il primo. Troppo dispersivo il locale, tendono a macinare clientela,se capitate presto sentite la pressione del personale, non ci tempo per parlare. Consiglio il fine serata, dopo le 21. Quindi la Conception del locale risulta perfetta, ambiente e cucina buono. Migliorabile il personale troppo frenetico il servizio nei momenti di punta. La pizza va lavorata meglio, dato che i prodotti utilizzati sono evidenti di buona qualità. Rapporto qualità/prezzo medio, potrebbe essere migliorabile. Menù interessante e ben chiaro. Very fast to serve. I didn’t write exactly what I ate because we were a group and we spent more or less 28 euro/each one (I remember from the choices on menu: mixed grilled meats with potatoes 28 euro for 2 people (very good) and Milanese cutlet with French fries 5 euro in the child menu (very good)).
