This was an unexpected find!! It seemed very much like a hole in the wall home but we were curious and stopped. The unexpected question of whether we had reservations make me think twice but we were given a table in the lower section! I'm very glad they did because it seemed to be a gem of locals who treated as well. The food was fabulous and brought back memories as a child with my family who are from the region. The best meal that I eat in Italy in 3 weeks! AMAZING PAELLA! That was one of the most amazing dinners that we had in Italy. Small local restaurant with delicious food, perfect service and lovely atmosphere. Very good wine, desserts and this awesome paella that I fell in love with!

Scoraggiati dal traffico e dalla calura di una domenica di luglio decidiamo di spostarci in collina al fresco e provare per la prima volta questo ristorante che si trova nella piazzetta di Carbuta (quindi dovrete salire rispetto all'abitato di Calice). Il parcheggio è piuttosto comodo, la temperatura è decisamente più mite rispetto alla costa e se l'apparenza esterna può sembrare un po' anonima e spoglia, dentro le cose cambiano. Abbiamo scelto la proposta fuori menù a base di lulle, i totani estivi, e ne siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. La qualità delle pietanze è ottima, le porzioni sono generose (ma non eccessive) e i prezzi sono onesti e in linea con quello che si mangia. Non sono rimasti molti posti con prezzi così, specialmente sul litorale. Quindi, se volete stare lontani da traffico e afa la scelta di questo posto...
