Wonderful! We had a wonderful experience here after a long bike ride. They have also a wood oven for pizza and schiacciata. The location is very nice, an old olive storage right in the center of the old town. The waitresses were very nice and kind. And the food was at the top! We tasted pappardelle al cinghiale, filetto al pepe verde and a salad of ceci and dry tomatoes .... WONDERFUL! The wine of the house (vino della casa) was very good but the top was their own made olive oil with their bread (not salted, typical of Tuscany) and schiacciata. It took 90 minutes for the food to arrive. Our children got their food - then we had to wait another 30 mins so they had finished when ours arrived - not a great way to eat out as a family. The salad never arrived. My pasta was forgotten so came even later. Service rude, slow dismissive. Avoid. When we asked for a discount we were told “it was unfair” and the pizza took shorter to cook. We had asked for it all to arrive together - couldn’t the kitchen start cooking the pizza later perhaps?! Not a good...

Not on the "map" for tourist attractions, but rather an amazingly fortunate discovery while housed at a nearby marvelous estate, this restaurant combines the local simplicity, fresh seafood & truffles with great staff attitude and green surroundings, perfect for an evening out with the family. Not all staff speak english, however they are easy to understand with, and very friendly. Definitely a place to stop by if you are ever around...
