What can I say ? It’s 8 years I don’t live in Tuscany anymore so each year during Christmas I look forward to eat some local food from my region and here I found my new favourite restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Tuscany to come here ! The menu is pretty simply but each dish is so tasty and fresh . Nowadays it’s hard to find these places so I will definitely come back next year . We had starters , some pasta dishes and we finished with my favourite : Fiorentina steak ! The steak was tender like butter and I couldn’t get enough of it ! We had loads of wine to pair with the food and I can say the man who worked there was able to pair it perfectly with each dish . Customer service was excellent and I loved the decor of the room too ! I’m looking forward to my next dinner here when I come...

Siamo stati in quattro a cena un lunedì sera e, purtroppo, l’esperienza è stata negativa dall’inizio alla fine. Appena arrivati, abbiamo scoperto che diverse cose che volevamo ordinare dal menu non erano disponibili, e il signore che sembrava il proprietario ci ha persino detto di non guardare la carta dei vini perché “non è affidabile”, cosa che non ispira molta fiducia. Il servizio è stato caotico: a servirci non c’era un cameriere di mestiere, ma un amico del proprietario che cercava di dare una mano, sbagliando più volte sia a prendere le ordinazioni sia a portare i piatti.

A un certo punto ci è stato portato un piatto di spaghetti alle vongole in più. Lo abbiamo accettato pensando potesse esserci stato un malinteso, pur sapendo che l’errore era del cameriere, ed eravamo disposti a pagarlo. Poco dopo, però, il proprietario è venuto al tavolo per dirci, in modo piuttosto scortese, che quel piatto non era nostro ma di un altro tavolo. Il mio piatto, un tonno con crema di asparagi, aveva un buon pesce, ma la cosiddetta crema erano solo pochi puntini verdi sul piatto, senza alcun sapore e senza alcuna logica.

Avevo chiesto un contorno extra di patate, che mi è stato portato, ma la mia amica, che le aveva ordinate prima, non le ha ricevute perché “finite”. In più, dal gusto era evidente che fossero state scaldate al microonde. La temperatura nel locale era soffocante, anche perché tenevano la brace elettrica accesa a 200 gradi senza mai utilizzarla. La musica di sottofondo si interrompeva ogni volta che il proprietario riceveva telefonate.

i pici cacio e pepe erano talmente annegati nel burro da risultare immangiabili. A parte pici e patate i piatti erano abbastanza buoni. Il conto finale è stato esorbitante — 180€ in quattro (ci sono stati esclusi il piatto alle vongole e le patate mai arrivate, quasi come se ci facessero un favore) — e non ci è stato nemmeno dato lo scontrino: il proprietario ha detto di averlo “sbagliato e buttato via”. Come se non bastasse, al momento di uscire, dopo aver detto più volte “buonasera e grazie”, ho sentito il proprietario dire sottovoce una frase maleducata (“una sega grazie”), probabilmente pensando che non lo sentissi.

In sintesi, tra servizio disorganizzato, piatti deludenti, prezzi alti, poca trasparenza e scarsa professionalità, la nostra serata è stata tutt’altro che piacevole. Non torneremo e non possiamo consigliare...

100% recommendation! You must not miss this place. Our waitress was fantastic and her amazing energy made the dining experience even better. I didn’t get her name, but hope to come back and enjoy her service and delicious food again 😌

The eggplant parmigiana and crostini Misti were a fabulous starter. I ordered the sausage and beans and was blown away. So delicious. The filet and rosemary potatoes were my 8 year olds favorite meal so far in Tuscany.

We unfortunately didn’t get dessert because a tired child, but the ones we saw delivered to the table next to us looked amazing.

PS - the waitress was very accommodating to our children (8 and 11 years) and to the 3 year old sitting...
