Terrible Experience – A Disgrace to Italian Cuisine

I recently dined at this so-called "La Cantina del Mare" restaurant, and it was one of the worst meals I've ever had. If you're looking for authentic Italian food, steer clear of this place. The pasta wasn’t so good and bland, the sauce tasted like it came straight out of a can, and the pizza? An absolute joke. The crust was soggy, the toppings were sparse, and there was zero flavor. (They literally used dry mozzarella instead of fresh) never ever I had such pizza before :/

It’s shocking that a restaurant claiming to serve Italian food could get the basics so wrong. The quality of ingredients was poor, and the presentation was lazy Cold which makes things worse, the service was ok and the staff seemed indifferent to our complaints.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who appreciates real Italian food. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Ps: We just check the Google ratings saying 4.3 stars and I clearly see it’s not more...

2 stars for the generously offered pizza dough with rosemary and olive oil while waiting for the 1-star food, and the possibility to cancel the second dish after trying the first. You cannot sell rotten frosted and who knows how many times defrosted tuna as the "fish of the day" served on a melamine plate. This place is a shame for italian tradition. Oh, by the way, all 3 of us who tried a bite of the tuna had a mild food poisoning. Next time if I don'tt like the taste, I shall not swallow maybe? Other dishes were also not good. Avoid at all costs, the piadina romagnola around the corner will beat you hunger better. -1 star for the owner for being rude...

This place is a scam! In the menu they have several items labeled as "100 gram" with comparably low prices. Turns out the actual dish is somewhere around 400-500 gram and we ended up paying over 25 euro for what was supposed to be around 6-7. Cooking was OK, but not worth the price. Also, they bring free bread slices with a catch - they are oversalted to force the customers to buy drinks, luckily we had our own water. As a cherry on top, two of us got a food poisoning afterwards.

Not recommended at all, there are much better restaurants...
