You arrive up a narrow steep road to Villa Tiboldi |We parked near reception to unload out suitcases and then parked in the underground car park |We were helped up to our room with our suitcases by the girls on reception !|We stayed in Room 4 , a spacious suite up 2 short flights of steps |The room was beautifully decorated |We took advantage of the free wine tour in Malvira which was very enjoyable |We walked down but it is very steep going down through the vineyard |We took a lift back up from other guests staying in Villa Tiboldi ! |There is a beautiful pool overlooking the vineyards and plenty of sun loungers |The views from the terrace are spectacular and this is where dinner and breakfast was served if weather is ok |Breakfast was delicious |Mainly a selection of cold items but all homemade and delicious |There were some hot egg offerings too|The homemade frittata was delicious and were the homemade cakes |We slept well as air con worked well and it is a quiet location |Canale is quite a small town so not so many options for dinner and as said before the steep return to Villa Tiboldi would not be for faint hearted |We stayed on site and shared a meats & cheese platter as main restaurant does not open on Mondays |We ate on the terrace on the Tuesday evening and it was delicious and a very relaxing experience |There are 10 rooms in Villa Tiboldi so it feels small and intimate |There were lots of people at dinner so i think people come from outside Villa Tiboldi for the food |We enjoyed our stay in...

The Villa Tiboldi is a one of a kind agriturismo...it combines a rural location that is quiet and relaxing, with phenomenal views of the countryside of the Langhe region of Piemonte, excellent food, a relaxing pool, underground parking; in short it has it all. A short drive from the village of Canale, that includes a drive up a rural one lane road you'll find the Villa Tiboldi. Here you can begin your day with a full buffet breakfast and sit out on the terrace and enjoy breath-taking views of the countryside. Afterwards you can relax the day away near the pool, visit the many wineries in the Langhe region either by car or wine tour, or just visit the many small villages in the area like Barolo, Barbaresco, Nieve....and stop along the way just about anywhere for some wine. There are many enoteca in every town and village. Upon your return, enjoy the first class restaurant at Villa Tiboldi either by a tasting menu or dinner al la carte. A comprehensive wine list is also at your disposal. The rooms are very spacious. We were in a junior suite (the living area is over 35 square meters) and the bathroom is very large as well. The rooms have free wifi, room safe, honor refrigerator, and air conditioning and as mentioned earlier the facility has underground parking for guests of the hotel. It's is simply a great place to stay in Piemonte...we highly recommend...

We organised our wedding weekend at Villa Tiboldi. We had guests from Italy and the UK. We used all the facilities: rooms, restaurant, terrace, pool, garden etc. From the early stages of organisation the staff were incredibly helpful and understanding of all our needs. We had a lot of different requirements for guests and rooms in all sorts of configurations and they managed them all perfectly. The rooms are beautiful and each has a unique touch. The check in process for nearly 40 guests was smooth and efficient. The food was amazing from start to finish: breakfast, snacks, pizzas, BBQ and the wedding dinner which was world class. The wine is fantastic and this comes as no surprise. Every single detail was perfectly managed and they didn't forget anything we asked over the months leading up to the event. Every single detail was taken care of. All the staff at Villa Tiboldi are incredibly helpful, skilled and attentive. We had the best weekend and the most amazing day 🙏 😁 Thank you!! We couldn't have asked for more.

We had beautiful 2 nights stay celebrating hubby’s birthday here- what a spectacular location overlooking vineyards and green hills boasting a breathtaking view… This discerning and classy boutique villa is surrounded by the rural setting that scream tranquility and peacefulness we have been longing for.. Lucia, Sonia and the team were welcoming, and accommodating… daily 3 course dinner was great occasion experiencing local quality produce pleasing to eyes and fitting to the sophisticated palates like us ☺️.. an intimate dining culminating in the chef’s tiramisu on request that allowed us to appreciate and savor what a great day it had been! Last but not the least - a trip to the winery down the hill (Malvira) was a great highlight - memorable and very informative private wine tasting session hosted by a personable and very knowledgeable host Simon! - we could feel your enthusiasm and passion for your work! We will surely return for yet another unforgettable experience!

Beautiful hotel and location. We stayed in the junior suite on the top floor in the main building and woke up every morning with a breathtaking view over the Roero hills. The staff is also very friendly and always willing to help. There were only a few small things that we think the hotel could improve on, such as towels & bathrobes for the swimming pool, a better breakfast and service on the terrace in the evening. We only booked the restaurant for 1 night and stayed 3 nights, would have been great to have a light meal (e.g. caprese) on the terrace on the other 2 nights. The restaurant was very good, but not something for every night as it is quite fancy. Of course, with COVID it is understandable that things don't go as planned. So perhaps these things are part of normal service. We definitely will be back :)
