were on top of the game as far as service is concerned. We were walked through the menu which is small but captivating, all very traditional dishes. We opted for mixed appetizers and we let them bring out the house favourites; all very good and appetizing, the ricotta cheese was to die for, one of the best I had in a long time. The bread basket was a mix of sliced bread and spiced croutons. Our mains arrived soon after finishing the appetizers and I personally felt that at that point the service was a bit rushed; we would have preferred to wait a bit in between courses. I had the frico which was sadly a disappointment; it was way too hard. That said, the other dishes were great, gnocchi with beef ragù and risotto with erbette. The desserts were fab, we had the strudel, tiramisu and crostata with prunes jam. All portions very generous. It’s a nice touch to offer coffee from the traditional italian coffee pot (moka) but they did not have decaf coffee nor did they have barley coffee which I felt was a shortcoming. Finding parking is a bit of a nightmare. All in all we left happy, and thought that the overall experience was great value for money. Though some small things could be improved, we would recommend the place and we would ourselves...

Traditional Malga un Cansiglio with authentic food.

The place is rustic and is family run. We visited in a group of 10 people and the staff was very kind and helpful with some of us (allergies and food intolerances) and they accommodate us all.

The portion are generous and the food although very simple is cooked with love.

Make sure you keep a space for the dessert, their amaretto tiramisu was amazing!

The coffee is make from the traditional moka that was a very nice touch!

We spend €28 each (starters, mains, desserts, wine, coffee, water and grappa!)

Partiti dopo un ora e mezza di strada con aspettative alte visto le recensioni è stata una totale delusione Tralasciando il costo dello scontrino che poteva essere paragonabile ad uno meno operai di 15 euro nn di più ma pagato il doppio con davvero piatti industriali freddi insapori annacquati industriali GNOCCHI AL RAGU NN PRENDETELI MAI ,ALLA SAGRA PAESANA SON MEGLIO , servizio nn organizzato confuso dimenticanze di richieste piatti nn portati , piatti freddi dolci che a casa li faccio meglio Tiramisù pietoso , per nn parlare di una grappa frutti di bosco allungata e annacquata Prezzi assolutamente inadeguati alla qualità dei prodotti Siamo completamente lontani anni luce sulla valutazione qualità prezzo In Frasca spendo la metà con qualità migliore NN CI RIMETTERO MAI PIU PIEDE ..
