Agri Sabatù — Restaurant in Canicattini Bagni

We had a wonderful meal here this evening, came across the restaurant randomly as staying nearby. The meal was excellent and absolutely fantastic value. We had (i) meat and cheese board with focaccia, (ii) two large pizzas, (iii) 1 litre water, (iv) 1 litre coke and (v) 1 50 cl Messina Beer and the bill only came to 40 euro or so! We could not believe the value! We would have happily paid twice that for the same meal. We couldn’t finish our meal and so were offered take away boxes. The location is wonderful (car essential to get there as quite rural). We ate outdoors in large green area with fantastic views and a swing set for children. There were many families there too. The service was great; we have no Italian and so staff had enough English to get us there! Lovely warm staff. Ordering was via WhatsApp with menu sent by PDF - which was handy, maybe a drawback for large groups/older people. This was the best meal we’ve had so far during our short week in Sicily....

3rd time at this excellent restaurant.

Very friendly service, free parking, a wide choice of pizza's and other dishes, excellent wine.

Did I mention the pizzas are the best you can eat in Sicily?

And don't tell them, but their prices are much too low for the quality offered. 😉

Our only criticism : they are not open for lunch, only diner. 😕

But we definitely will keep coming...

Fuimos de Vacaciones este mes de octubre y nos recorrimos el norte Sicilia. Llegamos a este local por casualidad porque volvíamos de visitar Noto preciosa ciudad, y de vuelta al hotel en Carlentini paramos poner gasolina en Canicattini y como ya era tarde preguntamos en la gasolinera y nos recomendaron que fuéramos a Agri Sabatú y la verdad que nos encanto, aunque no pudimos apreciar porque noche cerrada pero se trata un finca de más de 4000 m2, con jardines, juegos para niños y tenia también animales. El local amplio, la cena espectacular y aún precio súper barato. Nos atendió el propietario Sebby que resulta que tenía un hermano viviendo en España. Nos aconsejo y nos recomendó los platos a pedir y nos dijo que estábamos pidiendo demasiadas cosas. Pedimos para 4 personas 3 pizzas, 1 antipasti y postre y aún sobro comida, probamos la pizza Cavallini (carne de caballo) buenísima. Las pistas abundante de ingredientes de calidad y muy hechas. Si volviera a Sicilia seguro...
