Potter Premium Steaks — Restaurant in Capo d'Orlando

A truly magical culinary experience from start to finish. We were welcomed by Stefano & Chiara who created the most wonderful atmsophere and the highest quality produce. Their passion was evident and Stefano took the time to advise us on each item on the menu, as well as the best drinks pairing for our choices! The deluxe sharing platter is a labour of love and it was absolutely reflected in the taste of the home cured meats, cheese and forest fruit jam pairing. The steaks were of course the star of the show - PERFECTLY cooked to individual tastes and we had no choice but to pick the T-bone clean. Do not skip out on their desserts either - at this point we thought it was unlikely we’d be able to eat any more however Chiara’s home-made chocolate and pistachio flans with fondant centres were to die for. The tiramisù was irresistible and so incredibly light. It’s rare to find such a place that serves truly delicious meals paired with first rate hospitality in the most beautiful setting. Wir waren zwei Mal in diesem Restaurant. Die Vorspeisen sind sehr lecker. Das Tartare und das Carpaccio waren immer gut.

Die Hauptgerichte (Fleisch) waren hingegen nicht so gut. Die Fleischqualität ist vorhanden, jedoch hatten wir beides Mal kaltes, trockenes Fleisch bekommen. Die Beilage (Patate con buccia) waren wie normale Chips und keine Pommes, und sie waren sehr trocken und geschmacklos.

Der Kellner war der Einzige, der hin und her laufen und bedienen musste; der Chef war einfach da, um Bestellungen aufzunehmen und um die Gäste zu unterhalten, obwohl wir kaum gegrüßt wurden.

Leider können wir so etwas nicht unterstützen, einen jungen Mann auszunutzen, damit man die Personalkosten nicht erhöhen muss.

Die Lage ist nicht so toll; ein Parkplatz zu finden ist schwierig, und wenn man ein bisschen Verspätung hat, wird sogar erwähnt, dass das beim nächsten Mal nicht passieren sollte.

Unser teuerstes Hauptgericht sieht ihr auf dem Bild, und das Fleisch war absolut nicht essbar und wurde zurückgeschickt.

Keine Aussage kam vom Chef, und wir dürften über 200 Euro bezahlt haben, ohne dass wir etwas gegessen haben.

Man könnte noch mehr dazu sagen, jedoch empfehlen wir euch, sehr früh zu reservieren, da es nur wenige Tische gibt und diese langsam bedient werden (da nur ein Kellner da ist). Vielleicht habt ihr Glück und das Essen könnte sogar gut sein. ;)

Am besten sollte man nicht dorthin gehen; es gibt viele bessere, günstigere Restaurants in der Nähe.

Siamo stati due volte in questo ristorante. Gli antipasti sono molto buoni. La tartare e il carpaccio sono sempre stati ottimi.

I piatti principali (carne), invece, non erano così buoni. La qualità della carne è presente, ma abbiamo ricevuto carne fredda e secca entrambe le volte. Il contorno (patate con buccia) erano come normali patatine e non patatine fritte, ed era molto secco e insapore.

Il cameriere era l'unico che doveva correre avanti e indietro per servire; il proprietario era semplicemente lì per prendere ordini e intrattenere gli ospiti, anche se ci ha salutati a malapena.

Purtroppo non possiamo sostenere una cosa del genere, sfruttare un giovane per non aumentare i costi del personale.

La posizione non è delle migliori; trovare un parcheggio è difficile e se si ha un po' di ritardo, viene persino fatto notare che non dovrebbe succedere la prossima volta.

Il nostro piatto principale più costoso lo vedete nella foto, e la carne era assolutamente immangiabile ed è stata restituita.

Nessuna comunicazione è venuta dal proprietario, e abbiamo dovuto pagare oltre 200 euro senza aver mangiato nulla.

Si potrebbe dire ancora di più, ma vi consigliamo di prenotare presto (verso le 19) poiché ci sono pochi tavoli e vengono serviti lentamente (dato che c'è solo un cameriere). Forse sarete fortunati e il cibo potrebbe essere anche buono. ;)

È meglio non andare li; ci sono ristoranti migliori e piu economici...

One of the best meals I’ve had, and certainly the best steak! The passion that Stefano has for his craft is clear to see, and his homemade cured meats are unbelievable!! The tartare as well was exceptional, and the carpaccio just melted in your mouth.

But the main event was the T bone which I shared with a friend. It was perfectly cooked, and had that delicious aged flavour to it which is so unique. The rest of the table couldn’t resist nibbling at the bone to savour the beautiful meat.

And then dessert - we were so full but the desserts are made in house by Stefano’s lovely wife and WOW we did not regret ordering these! They were all delicious, the standout being the pistachio which was possibly the best dessert I’ve ever had!!
