First impressions of the place is stunning, the garden the pool area and the condition overall second to none.||I have quite a large family and since the rooms with 3 beds didnt have the panoramic views they done all they could and fitted more beds in the best room which of course fitted easly as the rooms are quite large. ||The staff are very very kind and sweet, they will do 100% for client satisfaction, as a matter of fact its best thing in the hotel, i had a little issue with one of my children falling sick on a sunday and the hotel management sent one of his english speeking staff to take us to a doctor on a Sunday without me not even asking for it. Then after that they aquired the medicine that night too. At no extra costs ! ||Food is excellent, if you like italian wine the staff will show you around in the wine cellar to find the bottle for you. Breakfast is typical italian not intercontinental style, fresh food and genuine coffee to start the day is good.||Parking is ample ||Pool is super clean and fresh||The view is pricesless||The place is super quite with the smell of pine forests and singing song birds all day.||I will definitely recommend this for romantic couples and families looking for a place with high class characteristics.||We booked b&b, so to stay for dinner you will need to make reservations like we did, i do recommend dinner with good priced menu you will find a good variety of italian plates including meats and pasta...

There are some places in the world where kindness of people and genuine hospitality melts one's heart. This is exactly how we felt in Antica Filanda, where we also had the pleasure of staying for one night. The location is relatively remote but worth traveling to as the views from room balconies are stunning and one can sleep soundly without any disruptions. But it is the food and the extensive wine cellar (highly skilled sommelier with extensive knowledge of local wines!) combined with vibrant, family oriented service that makes this place a true Michelin Bib Gourmand spot worth travelling to. We were blown away by the new version of La nuova Parmigiana and the incredible selection of 'historic' ANTIPASTO ALL'ANTICA FILANDA. Pastas were beautifully prepared, cooked and served with a generous topping of truffles. Make sure you have space for dessert as Fragolata con gelato fior di latte is something that can't be missed.
