La Bettola — Restaurant in Carisio

I’ve asked for a shuttle service from airport MXP to the hotel. The taxi driver from the Hotel was too late at the Airport. We tried to call him but the hotel provided a wrong number by email. So we text messaged over booking chat, but no answer either. After 20min of waiting we decided to pick another random taxi. After one hour the taxi driver called me and asked where I am. At that time I was already at the hotel (45min drive). I offered the hotel to pay in advance for the Taxi, but fortunately it was not possible. The taxi driver was angry and wanted me to pay for his drive although it was his fault being late! He followed me to the hotel and started a discussion with me while I had dinner!!! Where I felt very uncomfortable! The next morning I needed a another taxi to get to the Balocco racetrack where I had a business appointment. It was the same taxi driver waiting for me!!! and he refused to drive me there and wanted me to pay for the other drive the day before, so he blackmailed me! I didn’t pay him, because of his very unprofessional and childish behavior. I had to order another taxi so I was one hour late at the business appointment. It was just terrible!

Update: I booked via booking.com and the hotel blocked me so I cannot rate them on booking, that's why...

I recently stayed at Hotel Ristorante La Bettola during a long trip from Trieste to Bardonecchia, and this hotel was truly a wonderful surprise. I had not booked a room in advance due to heavy summer traffic and delays, but a kind gentleman at a gas station between Milan and Turin recommended this hotel to me.|From the very first phone call, Mattia at reception kindly and clearly explained how to reach the hotel at night. I arrived around 1:30 AM and was warmly welcomed by Raul, the night porter, who immediately checked me in and made me feel secure, allowing me to leave my car safely in front of the hotel.|I was impressed by their attentiveness: Mattia even carried and plugged in my small refrigerator upon my arrival. My room (no. 215) was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable — perfect for a much-needed night of rest.|In the morning, I was greeted by Alesia, who also works at the reception, and who ensured I had a pleasant and well-served breakfast with great care and professionalism.|Before leaving, I personally thanked Mattia, Raul, and Alesia, as well as Mr. Alberto Mancini, the hotel manager, for leading such a motivated and professional team. This hotel is a gem: simple, calm, and welcoming, and I will be happy to stay here again on my future trips...

not in a tourist resort but if you are ever in the area its well worth a visit .The staff are very helpful .The management are very attentive the rooms are very clean and very comfortable and the power shower is a must . the site of a berkel bacon slicer in the bar area was a bit mind bogling but a very nice feature . now down to the food all i can say is wow the menu is as yo say can cater for the burger man to the conisure .if you want fine dinning you can have it .i went for the risotto the three bean and cheese and was not disappointed my friend went for the steak and was cooked to perfection all in all the place was fantastic .very biker friendly we only stayed for the one night but a very good experience i told the manager i would give him a glowing report and here it is its location is very rural so if you stay there be prepared to eat there it is avery good expierience 4 star for me but only rated a 3...
